Looking for a cheap place to get food in downtown? Then you should definitely come to Ram in the Rye. Located in Ryerson... University campus, it?s a good place to grab a bite or drinks. They have different events, such as Halloween party, throughoutthe year. Food has great quality and reasonably priced. However, the service is not so good; no napkins, cutlery, or water wasprovided to us when we were there. Nonetheless, we had a blast; and I recommend this place. Read more
Great place for good food at a reasonable price and drinks to complement.
We ordered hot wings and asked the waitress how hot they would be. She said hot but not too hot. We got them and it felt like... lava in my mouth. We asked if we could get them tossed in something sweet to counteract the spice. She came back, and had thechef eat one of them to try it out, he said that they were way to hot, so then proceeded to wash off the wings in cold water andput a different sauce over them. Good service can be a hit or a miss depending on who you get. All in all great prices for university students just trying to... catch up with friends at the end of the day. Food is alright, I don't normally eat much at this place so I can't really be judgeof that. Read more
Cheap food is always good. Poutine is amazing. They've just updated their menus including more craft beer which is always a win... in my books. Not open in the summer though. Read more
