A little bit underwhelming after all the great things I heard about online. Service was great, very polite and attentive... servers. It was quite quiet when we went at 5pm on a Saturday, but it got busy around 6pm. We got chicken karaage, a beefudon, and the seafood udon. Our chicken karaage was overcooked and I could taste it was burnt. The udon dishes we got wereboth with very clear, lean broth. To be honest the toppings and broth were nothing special. The noodles had a great texture withbounce. They have a very large menu, but I'm not sure if I would come back to try more. Prices are on the expensive side forwhat you get. Read more

Very Tasty Udon. Surprised how this restaurant allowed me to taste all ingredients through the broth. After that, amazing noodle... will surprise you as well. Expect the wait but ????, it is worth waiting. Great parking option as large Green P is 1 min away.WARNING: high temperature inside. Seems like no AC, and you are eating hot food. This is the only negative feedback that I canthink of. Read more

This spot has always been the go to for udon in Toronto. Noodles are soft yet bouncy - and the broth is amazing too. The decor... is super cute (don?t judge it?s unassuming outside!). Read more

Very nice and neat place to have a lunch or dinner with your friends. We ordered two appetizer and one entrees for two adults... and two kids. All delicious especially their udon, must try. All staff are nice and friendly, they always offer us differentsharing bowls and spoons for different dishes, kids friendly. Read more

Definitely an unassuming gem in the city! Small cozy space with friendly servers. The menu is focused on their delicious... handmade, fresh udon noodles. Have it as cold noodles or with a savoury thick or thin broth. Portions may appear small, but areactually quite filling! Read more

The food was so delicious. I had tried kimchi once before but it wasn?t till I tried it at Raku that I truly came to appreciate... it. I do appreciate the fact that they have 3 vegan main options and they apps too! It was a great experience and the serverswere so attentive and lovely. All the food came hot and fresh to our table and we loved every bit of it. It was a bit pricey butit is fair. The total ended up being about $100 for a dinner of 4 with apps and three mains but it was well worth theexperience. Read more

An authentic Japanese udon experience in Toronto. We were here at 5:15pm on Good Friday and happened to be no line up so we got... seated immediately. Ordered edamame, agedashi tofu, Kitsune hot udon, Yamakake cold udon, and Sabazushi. Love love love theYamakake udon (grated mountain yam, quail egg, and bonito flakes) simple ingredients with the chewy udon but have the best tasteall together. Read more

Friendly staff! It was busy when we were there on Saturday but we didn't need to wait at all. We ordered the monkfish liver and... karaage to start. Monkfish liver was entirely forgettable but the fried chicken was delicious. For mains we ordered the curryudon and tantan udon- both were very delicious! It comes with a lot of soup so we packed the broth to make noodles at home.Highly recommend this restaurant! Read more
