Great food and great service! We went as part of the summerlicious event, and service was fast and attentive. I would... definitely recommend the Shaan tofu appetizer, it was perfectly cooked to be soft on the inside and firm on the outside. The eggtart was delicious too. There is a very impressive selection of teas that I would also recommend checking out. Read more

The food tastes delicious I ordered the Basil & Chili Lamb and Burmese fried rice. I love the lamb, it doesn't smell anything,... the meat is so tender and juicy and tastes so good, spicy, salty, and a bit sweet. The fried rice, for me, tastes a bit blandbut when you eat it together with the lamb it makes a perfect combination. The service and ambiance are also very good. Theserver knows about the food very well and can give you a recommendation when you don’t know what to order. Read more

We came here for Summerlicious. The food we got was all delicious. They also have an extensive assortment of teas available. The... only issue was that the rice that came with the lamb curry was cold but the staff quickly replaced it for us. The various disheswere well seasoned and flavourful. I would be interested in coming back to try their regular menu. Read more

This was my first time trying Burmese cuisine and Popa did not disappoint! We tried the tea leaf salad, vegetarian khowsuey,... Rangoon chicken curry and Burmese fried rice - all of them were really different tasting but equally flavourful. My favouriteswere the tea leaf salad and the Rangoon chicken curry. Even the white coconut rice was perfectly cooked and fluffy. The servicewas also really friendly and attentive - our server was really helpful and patient with explaining the menu and makingrecommendations. The ambience and decor were also really nice - it's a good place to sit down and eat or to take guests whilestill casual. Will definitely come back! Read more

My family and I enjoyed our lunch at P?PA today. We ordered a variety of dishes that came highly recommended by our waiter. The... dishes that we enjoyed the most were the Sexy Fish Croquette, Platha with Chicken Coconut Curry Sauce and Rangoon Chicken Curry. The platha is extremely flaky and dare I say one of the best rotis that I have had in the GTA. The khowsuey is very differentfrom what can be found at places such as Sukhothai or Pai. Although it tastes good and is plated nicely, it lacks the complexflavours captured by the spots mentioned above. Also, it would be nice if the restaurant offered creative non-alcoholicbeverages especially since halal meats are served. Overall, this was a great lunch consisting of well plated dishes that havevery unique flavour profiles. We would definitely try Burmese food again. Read more

I ordered the Tea Leaf Salad and Mango Pickled Lamb Curry. The salad was very fresh and tasty, quite a pleasant blend of fresh... herbs with a touch of peanuts. The mango curry was also delicious. The lamb cuts were soft, well cooked and well seasoned. Currywas balanced and flavourful with a touch of heat. The flavours aren't bold and will not overtake your palate. Would definitelyrecommend!
