Reserved for a party for the weekend. Arrived and we were quickly attended to, we arrived around 10:30pm but the place was... packed. It?s fairly large. There was Halloween decorations around the area, the vibe of the place was great. It wascozy. Points deducted for the food. We were all starving and waited a considerable long time for our food to arrive. Thenachos were completely bland, no flavour at all. The fries accompanying the burger were soaked in oil that if you squeeze, itwill ooze oil. The fish tacos weren?t too bad. The food overall was average as confirmed by all parties in the group. Cozy and tasty! This place has such an amazing chill vibe and it?s not overly loud. Perfect for socializing with friends or date... night. The food is so tasty too! I got the beet cheese dip and pretzel bites and they were soooo good. And the Brie chickensandwich was so tasty! Also the chocolate cake. Amazing. Read more
The food was delicious, and the atmosphere and the service were excellent. It was our first time coming to this bar; I could... feel the heart of the bar as soon as I stepped in. The decoration and atmosphere were excellent, and the space was vast. Weordered tacos and Cobb salad, and they were all very delicious! My boyfriend loves their fish tacos, and the salad wasgreat! The alcohol is reasonably priced, especially their daily beer special: 14 oz is only for $4.50, which is a greatdeal! The server was so friendly and helpful, and he gave us some very nice recommendations for the food. Overall, the food,atmosphere and service were brilliant. We will be back again for sure! Read more
One of my favorite pubs in downtown Toronto, Pour House has been a spot we've gone to for our end of the year xmas and holiday... parties - from when I was a student at UofT to my time as a working professional. The best thing about Pour House is theirfestive vibe and incredible ambience. Their food is brilliant as well. Below are some pictures of calamari, wings etc.. TheirChicken Parmo is out of this world with a chicken parmesan topped with a sunny side up egg. Highly recommend this place. Read more
I liked the wooden interior at Pour House. I heard that they have a beautiful back-patio in the summer too. Unfortunately, we... came here when it was cold already. However, their dine-in looked cozy and homey. We started with a big glass of Beer, WINTERSANGRIA and GOLD & DELICIOUS cocktail. We had NACHAOS with added chicken as an appetizer. Our main dishes were fish fishfish! My husband had the BLACKENED FISH SANDWICH. It was very tasty but it wasn?t warm anymore when we had it lol. Maybe wetook too much time to take photos. Luckily my FISH & CHIPS was the perfect temperature! Warm and Crunchy! Like so so good!Highly recommend! ???????? Nachos came in a little version but we added chicken to it. It looked small but we couldn?t finishit anyway lol. I wish they added shredded chicken instead of chicken pieces. That would be great with nachos! And maybe lots ofcheese!!! I forget to ask if we could add extra cheese to nachos. I?m sure they will be willing to do that. They looked verynice and friendly. We finished the meal with CHOCOLATE CAKE and a Bailey COFFEE (I think it was Bailey coffee). It wasn?t onthe menu but we asked him for a dessert coffee that went well with the cake. And ya it was! This pub has the most cozy ambiance esp with the backyard patio that features two levels and string lights. The food was also... very delicious and we especially loved their fish tacos ($18) The fish tasted very fresh and was grilled to perfection. Theyalso offer a unique burger called pk experience ($22 with a very thick patty AND roast beef. I really enjoyed their food, their burgers are so flavourful! ???? Burgers on special on Mondays as well as 1L of beer for $11?... You get to keep the mug if you finish the beer! Taco Tuesday is always a good time too ???? Read more
