Still don't understand how a fast food restaurant waits for you to place your order until they start frying the chicken.
Worst Popeyes in the area. Terrible management. Dirty place and I went today after 10 thinking it was open only to find they... actually open at 10h30( written on an old paper). Waited a few minutes only for the staff to continue talking while staring atme and leaving me standing outside like an idiot way past 10h30. I gave up at 10h45 and went somewhere else after wasting mytime in that nasty hole. The other Popeyes in the area are also cleaner. Read more
Don't order the beans and rice side, it's only rice, and if you point that out to the manager, they will shrug you off with a... "whatever". Atleast they shouldn't make it so obvious that they don't care about customers . Read more
I placed an order yesterday for a centre piece chicken breast. I was told by the cashier that it will take 15 minutes to cook,... which is fine. When I went to leave, the cashier told me that they are out of centre piece chicken breast, and gave me 2 ribpieces instead. I paid for it and took it home as I was hungry. My stomach is so upset today after eating the 2 rib piecesbecause of the grease, which centre cut pieces are not so oily. I called the store today, and told the manager Nazim whathappened, and would not listen to me and started arguing with me. I told him that the cashier should have told me when I placedmy order, that they are out of centre cut pieces, rather than me waiting for 15 minutes and telling me after the fact. Themanager asked me it I would like a refund. I told him don't bother, and I will call Head Office to file a complaint. I alsowitnessed the cook go to the washroom when I first entered the restaurant. He flushed the toilet and immediately exited thewashroom, apparently without washing his hands. While at this location last week I observed a homeless person running into this store and stealing a meal from an 8 year old... while he was dining at a table with his family. The low rating comes from the reaction of the staff, or rather a lack thereof;while I don't expect this location of Popeye's to provide security and I certainly don't expect the staff to stop such anincident, what should be expected is that the staff at least approach the family to check on them, or even offer to replace themeal. Instead, even though they clearly saw the robbery, they made absolutely no attempt to even acknowledge it, which tells methat this may be a common occurance at this store and therefore not a safe place to eat at. First time I've ever rated abusiness a 1 star on Google maps but sadly I feel it's fully deserved. Read more
I normally don't write 5 star reviews for fast food places... However this is an exception! Believe it or not even though I'm 49... years old and I'm in the top 10% of Google restaurant and hotel reviewers in the world with over 3 million views of my photoreviews... I've never been to Popeye's chicken before LOL the fact that I was starving at 2:00 in the morning and this locationwas open definitely added an extra star to my review as I was actually impressed with the food as well!! Nice quality food maintained. Tried the cajun chicken sandwich combo which is a touch spicy than the regular sandwich. Ssating... could be improved and yes it is open 24 hrs. Read more
They try to skimp on the dipping sauce. I only got one with my 8 piece nuggets and when I ran out and asked for one more they... said I have to pay extra. Read more
