Probably one of the worst stores located in North York. The chicken is always cold and more than 20 minutes old. They also find... the smallest pieces of chicken to give you like they earn commission from doing that. They consistently serve DISGUSTINGsandwiches to the point where I can no longer eat a sandwich from Popeyes. I have bought many times from many different storelocations but this location in particulars employees are so freaking lazy they don't bother serving fresh food. Hello World. I waited 15 minutes, service was a little slow , is the 1st thing I read ( from Customer Sharma ) when I opened to... write a review . Very bad service . I walked in there for 1 Tuesday special. After I already ordered from Pizza Hut. She triedto sell me regular , I wanted spicy. She said 15 minutes. I agreed. Cause I still have to take my sweet time to retrieve thePizza I ordered. I eventually remembered seeing a male employee ( he works the fryers in the back ) , I noticed him coming backfrom his break, carrying his own food tray to the back. Right after I ordered 9:53 pm . When I came back to the store. I was theonly one then another customer came. She told me 11 more minutes. I exclaimed you said 15 minutes, a while ago . When did Iplace my order ??! She lied he just dropped them in now. I told her that?s not 11 minutes then. She replied actually droppedthem 4 minutes ago. What are you gonna do about it ?!! Nothing. I said give me back my money. She said I will give you extrapiece. I said ok . She huddled in a meeting and before I turned around said I will give you your money back. There were 3female employees. One of them was on break eating in the back. After trying to figure out the cash register , they went back todiscuss with the chubbbY manager who was eating in the back. What an ignorant bunch of clouuns . With no common sense, orregards for customer time and priorities. Thank god for Pizza Hut. I finished eating pizza , and wanted to take a picture of thescene of the crime . There were at least 6 customers waiting for food in the lobby and another one opened the door while takingthe pictures. Worst location i ever been to!! They dont know what they are doing in there. They are moppint while customers are going in and... out and its very wet. Yesterday i got a platter and because my drink was a large drink they allowed me to replace it with abottled drink. Today they said no you can't do that, i was very thrown off, confused and upset. They said its an extra $1.29 forthe upgrade. I said fine charge me for 2 upgrades. They didnt even have an option for that in their system and charged me for abiscuit and a gravy. We go there because it?s halal. Their Fried Chicken is ok, not too spicy. We are not a fan of their tatters. Gravy is good.... Overall good value for money. I am giving them 4 stars as they do not have hot sauce anymore. Read more

Service is little slow, they were out of spicy chicken but the lady at the counter was sweet and friendly. So I waited 15 mins... to get my food. After getting my food (reached home ) I realized the food was burnt and the oil used was old and it smelt bad.The spicy chicken tasted bitter. Never will go to this place :( Read more

Purchased 2 chicken sandwiches, on Friday night. Husband asked for extra sauce on both sandwiches; not only we did not get any... extra, but we barely got any sauce, my sandwich had 2 misly pieces if pickels. Not the first time that this happened. I?ve been a fan of Popeyes for a long time but, I feel that in the last couple of years their food quality has become... inconsistent even within the same locations. Last time I tried this one, the food was good but, I think that the biscuit couldhave been a little fluffier and the chicken needed a bit more seasoning and color (perhaps they gave me a ?mild? instead ofspicy); however, it was cooked well. Daily specials are available and today was any Chicken Sandwich for $5.49 (sandwich only). A drink and/or side (e.g. fries,... rice, etc.) is an extra charge. I decided on Cajun Poutine $4.49 rather than chicken even though I love the way Popeyes chickentastes. There is booth & table seating for 28 customers along with high chairs for any young kids.
