Had dinner with clients at Moretti. We just walked in and they moved around a couple of tables to accommodate us and the... manager came over to ask if we were comfortable. Had the salmon, sea bass, chicken parmiagana. When we were having coffee theserver could tell that we were undecided about dessert and they brought out this platter for us. Beautiful restaurant. The ambience was really nice but the food was just okay. I was very excited about the calamari but it was... very bland. I don't think they seasoned it at all, definately could've used a lot of salt. The buratta was okay, also bland.Tomatoes were not great and didn't taste ripe. My pasta was delicious, I got the mac and cheese. It was super creamy loaded withflavor, it was the only thing I really enjoyed. Also, water is $9. I want to give 4.5 but that's not available and going to 4 would be an injustice. The staff were all on point when I visited. I... was extremely impressed at how quickly the food came to the table. The only issue I had was the glasses shoukd all be oncoasters so that the condensation doesn't flow all over the table. I'll definitely be back! Went there after the Jays game. Excellent location just a block away. The staff are indeed very friendly. Loved the atmosphere... and the vibe. Great music later in the evening with the DJ. Prices are not for the faint of heart though ie) $25.00 for a 6ozglass of wine. The food was delicious however the service/timing was off with only 3 of 4 appetizers came out together. Wewaited on the fourth appetizer. It was the same routine for the mains. I wouldn’t run back BUT if I was at the Jays gameagain, I would definitely give Moretti another go. Read more
Great atmosphere, great staff, food was 7/10 overall. Ceaser Salad, and the lamb chops were amazing. My pasta was decent but... their famous "cheese pasta" was disappointing. The pizza did look and smell very good despite not trying it myself. Read more
The good. Service was excellent. She was fast, friendly and very attentive. The venue is beautiful, modern, clean and large. ... Our steak was perfectly done and tasty. Tender and perfect just enough fat to my liking. The bad. The rest of the food wefound quite salty. Even the fries and Brussel sprouts that came with the steak was salty and over seasoned. The R&B/ Hip Hopplayed is extremely loud and rivals a lounge/club. A great place to meet friends, grab some food, pre-drink before hitting aclubs or lounge on King. But if you’re not into loud places and just looking for good eats and catching up, you’ll hatescreaming at friends across the table. Parking is ample at the lot across ($15 and only until midnight). My wife been here afew times before and likes it. For me, there are better options in the city for us foodies both price wise and quality. But itis a decent place for drinks. Read more
This meal, oh this meal. We are blessed to have so many great restaurants here in Toronto. So many of the Italian restaurants.... Moretti is at the top of that list. Everything was exquisite. But that your Gnocchi Cacio Pepe was the BEST I’ve ever had.And that includes my dining experiences in Italia. I love this spot. Great ambience for a fun night out. The food is amazing. Best to go with a group and try a bit of everything.... There’s nothing on the menu that isn’t excellent. It feels cozy while still being a place to go for a good night out. Themusic is loud, lights are low and it’s busy. Don’t come here for a quiet understated dinner. Come for a celebration or witha group that likes to have wine, cocktails and delicious food. I recommend this place to people all the time. Read more
