I realize that this is a franchised company, but don't know where else to post a review. Went to the Food Truck Festival on the... Civic Holiday and approached the Philthy truck. The smells coming from the truck were very enticing. Upon approaching, a haggardwoman, folding napkins, barely acknowledged my presence when I asked if credit or debit was accepted. A dismissive "uh-huh" lefther larynx with a scowl. There were no other people in line, but she kept on folding those napkins looking off into thedistance. I ordered two burgers which came out to about $30. The order was taken without a thank you or any sort of enthusiasm. The burgers were big, but tepid and overdone. If this is the level of service and food provided I wouldn't recommend going. Read more

Never order from thier food truck/trailer Paid 18 dollars for a bun half filled with maybe 4oz of meat and some bbq sauce and... onions. Seems some locations do a good sandwhich and others are horrible. Event truck/trailer is definitely NOT good. EDIT:You do have a trailer. It's parked at the end of the street. I've gone and taken photos for you. Read more

First time trying out this joint. Really good poutine. Great late night meal ???????????????? Tasty and loaded with all kinds of... meat. I suggest ordering the largest size as you get a very generous portion and price wasn?t bad either. ???????????? Read more

My taste buds were not worthy of the exceptionally delicious flavours that happened. The fries were pretty dope as well.

The last time I remember portion sizes like this was when I was feeding my 3 year old toddler a lunch snack. This size Philly... Cheese steak sandwich for $14.00 is beyond highway robbery. I gave 2 stars because the flavour was good but people want to seeLARGE portions for their hard-earned money. I would need 12 of these to feel full. Is this a bad dream or some kind of sickjoke ??? I always give every food place a ?first impression? just like going on a date. My first impression will be my lastimpression with this place. $40.00 for two (2) super-mini sandwiches and two very small poutines. I am a foodie at heart andhave tried food from every culture and every walk of life. There are literally hundreds of choices that I would rather go withfor half the cost?like a Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich. I could have purchased ten, yes TEN!, Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches forthe same price and had sandwiches for days. Will not be ordering from this place ever again. This first time will be the lasttime, I wish them the best of luck !! Read more

First time guest at Philty's and I like that they cook your food from scratch. Ask for their best seller if you're not sure what... to get especially if it's your first time going there, because believe me, the overwhelming selection of food items that theyhave might scare you away. They've got a plethora of condiments ready for you to add to your food as well. As if the menu itemswasn't already enough to overwhelm unsuspecting new customers like myself. I just wish the meat would've been more tender( beefpatty wasn't juicy and a bit bland. Bacons they used on my wife's burger and the poutine was not freshly cooked) and I wouldgive the food 5/5, it's just a shame because the service was phenomenal, but I'm afraid it won't sugarcoat it. I gave it 4stars instead of 5 because of the washroom as well, seemed like they forgot to clean up after rush. Would definitely give itanother go to try some more of their sandwiches though. Portions are kinda huge. But also costs a lot. Basically 20$ for the sandwich. $14 for the large poutine. Best value was the JR... burger. ~$3 and was bigger than a Big Mac combo With a med poutine was 14$ and good mix. Writing this the day of eating. Hope Idon?t have stomach issues. Read more
