Reviews for Patria in Toronto, ON
As a group of five we all agreed that the bacon wrapped dates were a hit on the tapas menu as were the squid tapas. We didn't... feel the bread options and anchovies were a particular hit with us for the price point. The lamb was fantastic and if you enjoyspicy sauces they make a great one in house. The seafood Paella was tasty. Overall vibe is definitely catered to please alarger, younger audience it feels. Decor and mood gives me modern, jazzy vibes. Read more
Very good food but a tad too pricy in my opinion. My favourite is the bone marrow, always perfect and super tasty. The... atmosphere is very good at Patria and the staff is super attentive. We ordered a couple dishes that ended up being out of stockand the manager came over and went out of his way to make it right and offered us free dessert, which was a nice touch. Thecocktails were also nicely crafted and tasty. Been here multiple times and I’ll be back. Read more
One of the best Spanish restaurants in Toronto bar none! Super date friendly! Whether the food is good or not, the portions, the... speed of serving, the service and the environment, the atmosphere, all are impeccable! Each server service is especially inplace, feel the heart and attentive. I had a reservation for 6:15, but arrived half an hour early and they were very friendlyand guided us in advance. Whether it's paella, bacon rolls or octopus, it's all very tasty! The taste and smell are all great! Iasked about the details of the birthday cake when I made the reservation, and they called me back specifically. After that therewere candles on the cake, giving my girl a birthday surprise! I could tell she was happy, and I felt the same way when she washappy! Thank you patria.(impact parking is very garbage, don't park here) Read more
Pretty decent food. Super small size and pricey for what it is. But overall a good experience to go with friends and get a... chance to try a little bit of everything. Server was extremely friendly and the manager did a incredible job by comping thedesserts because they were out of stock for multiple items we wanted. Would’ve been rated higher but I felt like the paella???? didn’t live up to the hype I kept hearing about. Read more
I was disappointed with this place. Their signature dish is the paella but it was the least satisfying. The rice had no flavour... and the seafood was just sort of a garnish on top. It really didn't come together as a dish for me. The best dish was the beeftartar, lots of flavour though a bit sour. be ready to ask for more bread. The dates wrapped in bacon were ok but way too sweet.Overall the food was very mid for the quantity and price. The atmosphere though was quite nice, it was a dark ambience. Iprobably won't be coming here again. Read more
Patria was an amazing atmosphere, I do recommend making reservations as they were quite busy even on a weekend. We got the... seafood paella it was amazing. The beef tartare and the sangria however were a bit too sour. The service was wonderful and fastoverall I would definitely go back. Read more
Service was excellent. Nice interior though bit loud/crowded when we went Saturday night. Food was good but not great, though... beautifully presented. The meatballs were a bit salty. The croquettes and octopus were good. The Paella was the best of thedishes we tried. For the price I expected better food though the place has a nice vibe if you don’t mind the noise. Read more
Very fancy place, we sat outside on the patio which was nice as it’s off the Main Street. The food was great except the tomato... on sourdough toast that was highly recommend it was a bit plain, the beef ribs were quite dry (part of the bone marrow dish),the octopus was only ok - I’ve definitely had better, but the Paella was delicious and very flavorful, as was the shrimpdish. Overall the food was OK, the ambiance was great, service was good, but I unfortunately witnessed one of the kitchen stuffcoming out of the washroom and didn’t wash her hands. So that was a bit of a turn off… Read more
