Beyond meat wrap was terrible. Texture was of ground beef and did not taste good. Other toppings were lacking as well.
Worst experience. Went for pickup in store and my order was made completely wrong. Asked for extra hot chicken shawarma and they... got the the toppings wrong, there was no hot sauce at all and it was wrapped very badly. National shawarma day is a great idea, especially from a place that I eat regularly. BUT the quality control was completely off... today, too many cooks in the kitchen, music blaring, no communication, crowded verging on dangerous behind the counter. Was curious to finally try the famous Osmow's. With all the locations and high profile ads, I figured it's gotta be decent.... First off, I'll say the service was friendly and fast. But the shawarma was truly one of the most generic shawarma's I've evereaten. Nothing special about it. Bland. Boring. Fairly poor ingredients. And it got me thinking - along with Pizza Pizza ,Harvey's and countless other chains, it joins the pantheon of Toronto food mediocrity, where not only do we tolerate bad food,but for some reason, we celebrate it. Decent place with good customer service. Food was okay, not bad but also nothing to rave about. Sort of middle of the... road. Location was clean and well maintained but they definitely didn't put much effort into the decor. Very cold and doesn'tmake you want to spend much time there.
