Sushi rolls ordered ~1-hr before closing. The owner was nice in welcoming. However, the waitress will comment on your eating... pace and swing in behaviour from cheery to rude. Crunchy bits that usually encase a dragon roll were soggy with a similarinconsistency to wet sand. I've never had the "crunchy" exterior be soggy and mush before. This has become one my new favourite spots for sushi. I?d say price are midrange but for sushi it can sometimes feel a tad... expensive. But the fish is mostly fresh and sushi is tasty. Other than that their udon and teriyaki dishes are also very good.The portions are generous and good value for money. Service can feel little rushed at times. What a serendipitous find! Sushi craving while in the west end if the city was very well satisfied with a sushi+maki platter. ... The fish on the nigiri was melt-in-my-mouth fresh and the maki rolls were made with the perfect balance of rice to savouryingredients. The service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant has tables which were separated very privately. The staff were super friendly. Their menus have a variety of... food. Background music was really soothing and comfortable. We ordered Boston Roll (served with miso soup and salad), BeefTeriyaki (served with rice, miso soup and salad) and Shrimp Tempura. Shrimp tempura was coated with a thick layer of flour whichmade me almost can?t feel the shrimp in my mouth. Boston roll was delicious so as Beef Teriyaki. I feel like if I eat the beefalone, it was not really good, but if I eat the beef, rice and the salad all together it was really delicious. And the priceswere okay. When we ask for the bill, the server brought us a dish of two slices of watermelon which really surprised us as wedidn?t order this, turned out it was a part of their services. Nice cozy place near high park! The value for the quality is pretty good, especially the salmon Sushi! Yum???? We had alot of... things, the Spanish roll was my favourite, the one that comes in a hot plate had interesting presentation, it came withflames??????
