Great venue, intimate and lovely dining experience. The food was intricate and made superbly, with fresh ingredients and... textured blend of flavours. I came with a group of friends and dinner was great. I ordered the venison which was prepared justright, with the sauce not overpowering the entire dish. I started with the burrata and figs which was refreshing and light. Oneof my friends told me she feels their foes gras is hands down the best she has ever had, including in Paris. Service wasdetailed, timely and right on the mark. It's really a hidden gem in the city, tucked in Yorkville. I think it's a great placeoverall for date night or a more special work gathering. Truely 5 star dinning experience with extensive wine list. The service was quick although we waited a bit long for main course... to arrive, kitchens fault. They were out of tenderloin at 8 which I found odd!! The owner/manager was nice with regulars ortables ordering expensive bottles but we were okay with getting less attention ????. All courses were cooked to perfection. Myfavorite was seared fois gras. Read more

Really bad service, the manager here has a serious racial discrimination for Asian people. He had really nice conversation with... other western people but just ignored this table. We showed our politeness every time when someone came to serve us. Even wewave to call the manager when he saw us, he chose ignoring us. Some waiters pretend that they don’t understand what we weresaying, even we don’t have obvious accents. I’ve been to many French style restaurants but first time in Toronto, won’t behere anymore. Also, I will tell every friend of mine don’t have meals here. Read more

Too long away from Opus. Great meal and service as always. Thank you Mario and staff. If you have not been to Opus you don’t... know what you are missing. Truly Toronto’s finest. Our Swiss friends were impressed and that is not easy. We miss Tony. Read more

Great ambience and very romantic atmosphere. Amazing experience at Opus Restaurant. The service was impeccable! Staff was very... polite and highly attentive. Our server was very pleasant, and definitely very knowledgable about the menu as he was explainingnew special items they had. They have an extremely extensive wine list. Their wine selection was absolutely impressive. It tookus some time to choose. If you are a wine lover, this place is for you. Every single dish was so carefully crafted and full offlavours that blended together graciously. The presentation for each dish was flawless! The tenderloin especially was very juicyand perfectly done. The seared foie gras simply melted in your mouth and the beef tartar was just amazing good. We tried 4different desserts and they all tasted really delicious and exquisite. Opus is definitely surpassed my expectations. Highlyrecommend to family & friends. Read more

The food and service are excellent! The staff go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and attended to. I also LOVE... that they have a sommelier on-site that comes to your table and talks you through different wine selections. Read more

I had a business meeting in Toronto yesterday and was searching for a good restaurant. I found Opus through a colleague and it... didn't disappoint. Food was amazing (ask for the tasting menu), but the most impressive part of the experience was the serviceand the attention by the owner (Tony). I'm a lifetime New Yorker and also a former restaurant owner and I would rate Opus rightthere with some of the best eateries that I've ever been to. Bravo Tony. MM PS the Lemongrass dessert was to die for. Read more
