Reviews for O'Grady's Restaurant On Church in Toronto, ON
I have never been so disappointed. I have been coming here for years and it just keeps getting worse. I haven't posted a... review as it was just not great like it used to be, but my experience on Halloween was the last straw. I brought my staffthere as most of them have never been to church street for Halloween and it is an experience. I told the hostess I needed atable for 10, and she said no! I pointed out that there was no one on the west side of the patio, nor was there anyone on theupper patio. She just walked away. The door guy said to just go ahead. We ordered drinks and food, but there was only 1server that I saw for the whole patio, but several runners. The shots were very tiny, buy the same price as regular. Stilldon't understand what a drop shot is. The sandwiches were just unwrapped from Sobeys. Then, the poor runners kept bringingout food that we already had. This was Halloween, not a new event on church street, so how did this happen. Very upset andfrustrated so I recommend avoiding this place. Spent over $800 for 10 people and none of us will be back. Good location for a pub, right in the middle of the Church village. Had dinner with a friend that night, the drinks were pretty... decent. Can't recall the name of the drink I had, but it was a cherry flavoured bubbly drink - it was delicious! We got nachoswith guacamole, which was pretty standard, nothing special in my opinion. I got myself a steak, which comes off rather thin, making it impossible to cook it to medium rare. But the fries were really good! While the food was standard pub, the vibes arenice here. It's a good spot for drinks and possibly fries (I would come back for the fries). Read more
Fun place to visit with solid bar food and entertainment. We order a few lbs of wings and beers and it was very good for a... reasonable price. The wings aren't heavy which was a bonus. Service was excellent considering how packed it was due to the dragshow going on that night which was very entertaining and made for a great evening. The performers we quite charismatic, funnyand played a lot of good throwback pop songs throughout the night with a couple surprisng rock classics. They also have a verylarge patio if you want to get away from the action to make conversation a little easier with your group as well as anupstairs. Definitely check them out! Read more
Great restaurant in the middle of the Gay Village. Super busy on Pride but the staff were amazing, attentive, extremely... friendly, and kind. The food was great and the portions were big. The drinks were cold and service was pretty quick. A greattime with my family and friends. Read more
Came for the Smoke Shack Poutine, stayed for O'Grady's, so to speak. ???? It's both one place so I don't know why there are two... places on Google Maps. The poutine is made with potato wedges which are super crispy and delicious! The Long Island Ice Tea wasalso quite good (a bit too sweet for my taste at first, but once the ice melted it was fine). Oh and their kitchen is open till2am every day! That alone is a huge plus for a night owl like me. :) Read more

I was part of a group hosting a drag event at O'Grady's and Jimmy and his staff made the process go so smoothly with their... support and professionalism. Jimmy was very easy to work with, providing us with all the information and support we needed rightaway. On the day of the event, the staff were very helpful and attentive to all our guests. Everyone who attended said theyenjoyed themselves and complimented the venue and staff. I would recommend this restaurant for all purposes and look forward toreturning. Read more
