Reviews for Nova Era Bakery in Toronto, ON
I ordered a pastel de nata and codfish cake. If you're expecting the natas to taste like natas in Portugal, they won't. The nata... I tried had quite a strong vanilla flavour, which overpowered the rest of the tart. The codfish cake had amazing flavour, perfectly seasoned. The one gripe I had with them, however, was that they weren't fresh - they were actually cold, and theoutside shell was soft, almost soggy. I'm sure they would have been outstanding if fresh. In terms of service, it wasn't bad,but wasn't the best either. Read more
I go here for the breakfast sandwiches. Freshly prepared and very reasonably priced. Coffee is pretty good too. I have not tried... the sweets other than the custard tarts (delicious) but they do have a very wide selection of pastries and confectionery.Friendly service and clean environment. Highly recommended. Read more

Awful customer service. When asked to see the menu, was told that it was taken down to reflect recent prices increases. I then... asked to see a physical menu but was told that there wasn?t any and the QR code on tables wasn?t working. Read more
We got 3 different pastries from this bakery, including the Portuguese egg tart. All 3 were amazing and extremely delicious,... with the tart being one of the best we've had. Staff was not extremely helpful when asking for details. Read more

Good coffee, good pastries. In my opinion, the Portuguese bakeries are the best in Toronto
