Decent place - like the vibe of the place, friendly staff, the pork chop was juicy, portion was a bit too small though

The food was excellently prepared. I was barely able to eat as a gluten free customer. They kindly and happily brought the three... items I could have: rice, raw cabbage and a poached egg. They also brought me the specific ingredients I could flavor my platewith. They really tried! But all of the other food looked fantastic and was reported by others as exceptionally delicious andextremely well made. Read more

First time delivery (previously dined in). Impressed with the consistency. Despite the 40mins it took for the order to be... delivered, food was still warm and did not get soggy. Pork cutlet portion was comparatively smaller this time. 9/10 wouldrecommend if you?re in the mood for katsu Read more

This small Japanese-style restaurant is near Bathurst station and the staff are very friendly there :-) I ordered Chicken... cheese curry. Though I don't like spick food before, I could still enjoy this curry with the fried chicken! I love thiscombination and they are sooooo delicious! By the way, I ordered one extra egg with this meal. If you eat by yourself, thiswould be your first choice, and it will fill your stomach. I would recommend this curry if you never try before! Chicken CheeseCurry $18.80 CAD Egg $1.50 CAD Total (including tax but not including tips) $22.94 CAD Read more

I confirmed with my Japanese friend from Tokyo that is did not taste like it was made by anyone Japanese at all. It tasted like... someone ripped off what looks like Japanese food, but didn?t have the care and consideration. I actually had to throw it away, the fish was so dry and stringy, and there were so much bread. Not even the rice tasted Japanese, it tasted like uncle Ben?s.There are way better more authentic places in the city. I don?t really write bad reviews, but I just have to say I didn?t finishmy meal so? that was shocking it was inedible. Also, didn?t even taste like they put tuna flakes in the miso soup. The taste wasso thinned out, by water including soba Read more

Not the best katsu place imo. The cutlet wasn?t crispy and needed salt. Didn?t enjoy the dipping sauce either. The food at... Katsuya tasted a lot better and didn?t feel as heavy. Read more
