If you are craving a good steak and don’t mind spending a bit, this will do the job. Get the Mac and cheese on the side and... enjoy Read more
The food came with a pretty much larger than we expected for Canada servings... the server was too nice that i can't complain ... that the food we ordered are too much for 2 pax .. the steak was good no need condiments. Read more
What a huge disappointment. While the oysters and lobster bisque were decent, everything else was a huge letdown. The shrimp... scampi was tasteless and the bone-in ribeye was more of the same. It had little to no sear, tasted like it was poorly pan friedin butter, and it was quite dry. The service was very slow, and they demanded that everything was to be ordered all at once(can't imagine how slow it would have been of we didn't order all at once). While I am very picky about my steak, I expected alot more from this place. I do not recommend going to this restaurant, and I will never return. Read more
Worst money I have ever spent. I went in with zero expectations but was still disappointed. The salad was soggy and the steak... was underwhelming and cooked wrong. I could not finish it. The service was the only good thing. I would never come back here.Save your money. Read more
We frequent Morton’s and I must say that the Toronto location was a HUGE disappointment. My steak was super charred and... everything else had little to no taste. The young lady who served us did provide good service. Read more
Subpar to say the least... so apparently this place is considered one of the finest steakhouses in the GTA... hmmmmmmm I guess... i'm wayy too spoiled since I live in Montreal and this is way below what I'm usually use to. Let me start off with thepros: The ambiance: was fine dining elegant attire minus the leaking ceiling lol was just worried with my luck that the roofwould cave in on me. Service was exceptional and really great can't complain! Our waiter was super friendly and quick he gotour drinks and all our food requests in quick and met all our needs. Cons: Food: Below good:/ my Caesar salad was awfully overdressed it was more of a soup and than a salad lol and the romaine was wilted. My fries was brought out a year later loool ok noit was brought out after we were already being served our cakes and we had already ate our main course. Fries were cold andstale no surprise maybe they forgot to bring it out. ? My fish was bland but cooked perfectly just absolutely no flavour. Itried my husband's "filet minion" and unfortunately, It felt like it was a New york strip cut (cheaper cut) in a baseball shapeto mimic a filet minion .. i think they tried to cheat a carnivore who they thought knew nothing about steak LOL .. can't foolme it looked dry and tasted super bland! Food was awful. Honestly, I feel bad writing this review but I truly believe peopleneed to know the truth and have clear warnings before coming here. Don't expect THE FINEST ... not close at all. I don't thinkwe'll be back here again. Sorry to disappoint Read more
Steak was pretty good and good service. The Filet was crispy and burnt on the outside, but tender on the inside. Day-aged Strip... was crispy on the outside also, but chewy and rich. The grilled shrimp added was disappointing however, no flavor and tasted olddue to over cooked. Iceberg Wedge was okay. French onion soup was so-so. Overall a good place for steak. The dining environmentwas “squeezing”. The place itself is spacious and become “crowded” due to too many tables. Lastly, it suggests businesscasual dress code. Update after few another try: the prime Cajun ribeye was told by the waitress that it was marinated for72hrs and was great! But at least compared to the prime bone-in ribeye, I prefer the latter one. Tried mushroom&spinach assides, spinach is over cooked and mushroom always goes well if you use butter properly. Desserts: seasonal chess cake andvanilla ice cream were both good. Drink: tired few cocktails, but loved their cidcar (not sure if I spell it correctly, the 1stone on the cocktail menu) the most.. Service: forgot her name, but basically got ignore after the dinner and waited for morethan 10 mins to get her attention and asked for getting the bill after dessert. Read more
