Came here for a night out with friends. Service was good, but the menu expensive. The food menu was confusing, it felt like it... was trying to do too many things and didn't have a particular style it wanted to be. We chose just to get a quick snack andmove on. Their presentation was more than expected, so it definitely exceeded our expectations. I would recommend this placefor a night out for drinks and snacks. Read more
I would have loved to give 3-4(maybe)stars for the food taste but a few issues with our dining. First my beer was stale and... flat. Still got charged for it and had to buy a more expensive beer which still wasn’t great. After that, I would stronglyadvise you avoid the risotto. For $18 it was the size of a starter and not a main. I mean it’s basically 90% rice… how hardis it to add more rice. and when I brought this up they just said we will talk to the kitchen… like that’s great but yourfood value is terrible. Food was ok but a lot of annoying things happened which were not rectified. The oysters were actuallywell worth it at 2.5 a oyster. If you coming here for just oysters you are in good hands. The service was great and very friendly The cocktails are very good even the mocktail The food is very tasty, we had the monk... fish it was so good and full of flavours !!! Highly recommend it We tried the chicken 65 as appetizer the crust was a bit toogreasy making it hard to digest I will not re order this one. The price was super reasonable and the chicken tacos were delicious! The watermelon salad was super refreshing but I wish there... was more feta! The staff was very nice as well :) Ambiance was 10/10. Definitely recommend! Read more
My girlfriend and I had an awesome time at Misty Restaurant & Bar. We went there for the first time on a Saturday night for... cocktails and drinks, and we were not disappointed at all! The service was excellent and our server was really friendly andwelcoming. My girlfriend had some fish tacos also, which she said was very delicious. We will definitely be going here again!! This place is an amazing cocktail bar. The ambiance was perfect. A low-lit place with good music and good vibes for the night.... We had an amazing server named CJ. He helped us picked some drinks and food for the night. We got the ocean 490 and pillow talkto start. The pillow talk was amazing and gave a real alcohol punch flavour. For the second round, we got a pineapple mojito anda smoked whisky. The pineapple mojito is probably the best one I have tried so far and would definitely come back for it. Theway they made the smoked whisky was so creative and very aesthetically pleasing. Food - we tried the Korean chicken bites. Theywere so crispy and yummy. A great appetizer to start the night. We also tried the Pakara cauliflower bites. This appetizer wasgood, although not the greatest. We did find it to be in the dry side and it could have used some more sauce. Dessert - we gotthe daily special churros for $7. The churros were so crisp and the taste was to perfection. Another great reason to come backto Misty. Customer service - throughout our time at Misty, we were provided with great customer service from all staff. Theyswitched our tables for us, they offered us a secure coat check and all their friendly gestures elevated our experience atMisty. We popped in for a cocktail hoping they had some warm food. They did have a late night snack option of a delicious chicken... Sammy. The potato bun was so soft and the breading on the chicken was so flavourful. Highly recommend it; and if they areserving the nacho chips grab them as a great side. We were more than happy with this combo. NOW the cocktails... All weregreat! We sipped on Hibiscus Blush Queen Brandy The Beaver And Beyond the Great Wall The last one was very unique and not foreveryone. Went there for a couple of drinks and apps with my friends on Saturday lunch. Was not really busy so the service was quick.... There was just one guy doing serving and bartending at the same time and I must say he killed it!! The drinks were amazing, sodifferent from everything else I tried and definetely worth the price. Appetizers were delicious as well as oysters and thepresentation was great too. If you never been here, it’s a must try!!! Read more
