Minami serves the same style of sushi as Miku and it’s always delicious! My favourite item here is the beef sukiyaki pot roast... because the meat is incredibly tender and when mixed with the poached egg, it creates an incredibly rich flavour. The price ishigh compared to the portions you get. Definitely a cute date/celebration spot though! The atmosphere is super chic and relaxed. Read more

Dined in outdoor patio. There was a DJ keeping up the good vibes. Service was good. Food was disappointing. Sushi was amateur.... Octopus was alright. Drinks were alright. Not much appeal to return but won’t shoot it down immediately if I do have toreturn. Maybe their other food items are better.. Read more

Minami's restaurant decor and ambience is simply incredible - loved the vibes here and it's such a perfect date spot! We tried... several different sushi dishes and rolls and loved all of the them! The cocktails are nice as well! I would say it is on thepricier side for the food, but the overall ambience makes it worth it! Definitely a nice place to celebrate a special occasion. Read more

Incredible culinary experience. Romantic and intimate ambiance. Partner and I went here to celebrate my birthday and we were... delighted by the service and food. The sushi here is delectable. One can taste the fresh ingredients and the quality of thefish and roe. We also really enjoyed the garlic potatoes. I will be coming back for those. Pricy, but we’ll worth it. Read more

Minami has a beautiful interior and has a very refined atmosphere with incredibly well trained staff. They are wheelchair... accessible and have accessible bathrooms as well, checking off so many boxes. However, the food is okay and for the price, notin my top 5 favourite sushi restaurants in Toronto. The sushi fish quality is high and the presentation of the dishes isbeautiful - clearly time is put into making the display gorgeous. Unfortunately, the rice is a bit watery, and the ratio of riceto fish is very high. Some of the rolls from the premium set are overly complex and it's hard to even decipher what kind of fishyou are eating due to how overwhelming all the different components are. Personally, sushi is perfect when the carefullycrafted, simple ingredients do the talking. Read more

Ambience was great and the decor was impressive as well. The sushi was amazing. The wine was amazing and my most favourite was... the dessert. I had the coconut pie and hands down one of my top favourite desserts in the world. So deliciously warm on theoutside with cold ice cream in the middle And the taste of the bananas hit so good. Highly recommend this place. And will beback for many rounds of that dessert. Read more

Lovely atmosphere, good dining experience overall, fresh foods with a unique twist. Overall we really enjoyed the freshness of... each dish, came to try the Christmas tasting menu at 120pp. The steak sirloin was melt in your mouth delicious, the fish wasperfectly paired with wasabi and toppings, and everything was cooked to perfection. Service was good, but not exceptional.Presentation was well done overall. Was it a nice meal? Yes, absolutely. Was it worth the value? Probably not. It was a 3course tasting menu for pretty heft price tag. Read more
