I tried to book them for a corporate event and they were THE WORST. It's like these people did not want to take the business.... They kept telling me to send an email and then when I do they never get back to me. I had to ask them to send the invoice 5TIMES. After all that back and fourth, the day before the event they CANCEL and leave me scrambling trying to find anothertruck. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, HORRIBLE RESPONSE TIME, HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION. Awesome spot. The food is great and really reasonably priced. I recommend the 4 sandwich combo- after you have one, the two... sandwich combo is just not enough! The portions are also perfect. The folks working there are all super friendly. Definitelywill be coming back again soon Read more
So, as a huge foodie of all food, restaurants, including food trucks, here?s the Good, the Bad & the Ugly: the Good: friendly... service; convenient for all meandering around the lake, right at Queens Quay near the lake; prices not too bad - 3 tacos for$11.99 but?are they worth it? For the most part, they?re ok with fairly ok flavour. the Bad: Disappointed there was NOquacamole on both sets of tacos despite that being included in their list of toppings; wish there was seating available closerrather than having to take your food all the way down the pier until you find those numerous benches mentioned in anotherreview; a minor thing but on a hot day, I like a cold Coke, not room temperature. the Ugly: messier than most?the tacos, whiteor corn, don?t hold up to the sauces and fall apart quickly. Explains why they give you a fork but takes the joy out of justmawing down with taco in hand. Me, personally, had an issue with the sparsity of shrimp?two??? I just had a fire hot shrimptaco two weeks ago and had no less than 8 grilled, beautiful shrimp (same size) in ONE amazing taco! So giving me two shrimp inone taco is a rip off even if the cost is a bit less. Three or four would have been more acceptable. The pico de gallo is toowet for the thin tacos so we had liquid soaking into the other tacos while eating. In summary, it passes for when you need aquick snack fix. Pretty tasty texmex, good portions and great value. They have a quite an extensive menu for a food truck and the meals are... perfect to eat standing or on the go. The brisket, shrimp, and fish are the clear standouts for me. The tacos are pretty bigand excellent value at 3 for 10. Great option for a quick and filling meal. Read more
Wow this was some fantastic food. I got a chicken burrito bowl here (for $10 i think) and it was some of the best ive ever had.... Amazing fresh ingredients, great sauces, such good chicken. The guy taking the orders was also very nice. Its next to the waterand there are plenty benches nearby to sit and eat. It is also located by a parking lot if needed. Really really good food Read more
