It is quite rare to have a reasonably priced seafood restaurant next to such a major tourist destination as St. Lawrence market.... As a local I absolutely appreciate it and eat/order here often. The food is prepared fresh, with a good variety of grilled anddeep fried seafood items as well as pastas. Pro tip - consider dining in, fresh from the grill rather than ordering a take out. I came here for a late lunch with my family. The restaurant is cozy and surprisingly spacious. The service was fantastic and... everyone was friendly. The food tasted extremely fresh and not oily at all. Great spot for fried seafood and I would definitelyrecommend it to anybody whose craving fish and chips in the city. Will definitely be coming back here. The only negatives issome of the seating is sticky (probably from the cleaning solution they use) and the pickle was pretty bad. Read more

Saturday lunch was fishy. We ordered Calamari grilled, Red Snapper grilled and Halibut fried. The plates were big, fish portions... enough. Two of us opted for salad instead of fries which was again a nice portion. The Red Snapper was delicious. Halibut Iwould have preferred pan fried not deep fried. And the Calamari meaty . Enjoyed our time there. The service was efficient andstaff polite and nice and caring. I am def going back to try Lobsters next. Read more

A long time favourite restaurant near St. Lawrence Market! This over-the-counter seafood restaurant has great service and... delicious food. Very happy to see they are still around. Yesterday, I ordered my go-to: Seafood Platter. I thoroughly enjoyedthe grilled seafood spread of calamari, octopus, shrimp and swordfish. I ordered it with a green salad (other options are Greeksalad or fries) and it comes with 3 dipping sauces and coleslaw. Currently they have indoor and outdoor patio dining. And rightnow for the summer, the entire Market Street has closed for pedestrian use only. The street has picnic tables and Muskoka chairson the cobbled stone street. Highly recommend a visit! We enjoyed having three tacos, BBQ octopus, calamari and crab cake sandwiches. Market Street Catch is always great for its... offering of seafood over fries. Staff are friendly and there is seating inside and out. If they are busier there are plenty ofoutdoor spots to eat at if the weather is cooperative. Read more

Small cozy restaurant just off a side street of the St. Lawrence Market. Great service. Staff were friendly and attentive. We... tried their Grilled Seafood Platter, Lobster Rigatoni, Steamed Mussels & Clams, Surf & Turf. Food served warm and yummy. Portionand prices were decent. We loved the lobster rigatoni. It was creamy & full of flavor. The steak we asked for medium rare butcame out well done. There was only one shrimp on the seafood platter. Overall experience was good. Dine-in and patio available. Will visit again to try other seafoods on menu. Read more

Great experience! Some dishes really stand out (below), large portions, good value-for-money. GREAT SERVICE from the staff,... especially Elisa ~ thanks! First some deets. Not a huge dining area: about 6 tables seating 2-4 each. If busy, there?s a longbar table facing the open kitchen, seats 6-8. Patio?s a good option this time of year: about 4 tables seating 2-4 each. Orderat the counter (for both dine in & takeout). They?ll give you a number and bring the food to you when it?s ready. The food!Lobster Roll is the clear go-to: big chunks, fresh, a touch of spice for some kick. Grilled Octopus is a winner but eat it rightaway or it gets too chewy. For fried fans, go for the Halibut. All fixings are top notch: tartar sauce & coleslaw esp. (btw it?sa dry coleslaw, which personally I prefer). Read more

I got both grill and fried platters. I loved the grilled shrimp but they only had 1 piece on the platter. Everything on the... grilled platter tasted better than the fried platter The coconut fried shrimp is sweet and I wasn?t a fan. The haddock fish isgood and the calamari was alright. There were lot of fries on the platter so I would suggest to get individual dish likegrilled prawns than platters. Read more
