Reviews for Maker Pizza in Toronto, ON
Best pizza in Canada hands down but you?ll have to visit Toronto for now to try it. This is the second location I?ve ordered... from, it?s exciting to see them grow and increase in popularity because it?s truly deserving of the success and hype. I have ahard time getting anything other than the Franks Best pizza but have really enjoyed the Tropic Thunder, Dr. Pepperoni and theSiena Margherita pizzas in the past. The salad was the perfect fresh accompaniment to the pizza and not too overbearing, Iwould order it again! I enjoy the well thought out menu, order/pick up process and of course devouring the food itself. Theyhave their own fleet of delivery vehicles which are fun and well branded. Toronto should be proud to have such a fun andexciting establishment; if you haven?t tried Maker yet, what are you waiting for? ???? Read more
This pizza is really great. I have been here multiple times now and always know that the pizza will never disappoint. They have... a few locations now, which is great. My go to from now on will likely be the Margherita. It is so good. I LOVE the way theymake this pizza. They nail the crust every time. Its airy, bubbly, and crispy. Unfortunately, I have fallen out with the Dr.Pepperoni flavour. I think it is just WAY too salty. The pepperoni is very strong in flavour but the sheer amount of it makes ita but overbearing. I might try another one of their pepperoni pies (the pep God or something) in the future to see if that isdifferent at all. Last I checked, they also only do takeout at this location since the pandemic happened. This is SOunfortunate as the pizza really does benefit from being eaten immediately and there are no good places to sit near the location?I usually just eat on a curb. Lastly, the pies are very pricey and there are no slices at this location. Really hope thischanges soon. I know one of their locations are doing slices, but not this one yet. Read more
This place never disappoints. Try their limited time options. Great for parties and groups. Probably one of the best pizzas in... town. They have a fairly convenient app for ordering Read more
Hands down some of the best pizza I've ever had ???????????? I ordered a pepperoni pizza and it came in 4 large delicious... slices. The size was perfect for 1 person. Every bite was a joy, the pepperoni was scrumptious and the dough was fluffy. I'dhighly recommend the pepperoni pizza because I can't wait to return and order another one! Read more
This is my favourite pizza place in Toronto. That alone could probably be the end of the review, but I?ll elaborate a little bit... more. Try it yourself and you may also meet your maker. This is the kind of food you want when you?re craving a special treat.Maker doesn?t reinvent what a pizza is, they just nail the fundamentals and make a delicious creation, whether that be theirregular pizzas or their tray pies. The cheese is stretchy, the toppings (especially the pepperoni) are super tasty, and even thesauce is well seasoned and excellent. Alone, each of those doesn?t sound like much, but in combination, they come togetherreally well. If you?re someone who likes a lot of pepperoni on your pizza (like me), then definitely get the DrPepperoni. Order ahead of you can, as they can get fairly busy and the wait can be a little longer than expected if you orderwhen you get there. Cheers! Check out @foodpharaoh on Instagram for more food! Got the 12? Frank?s best pizza with house made sausage and it?s pretty good flavor wise. The honey sesame crust is baked to... perfection and is crispy and airy at the same time. The sweetness in the honey crust and caramelized onions adds more balanceand complexity to the overall taste of the pizza. I?m giving 4 stars because 1) the mozzarella is too chewy for my verypersonal taste, and 2) if I have to pay $27 (incl. tax) for a 12? pizza with so little meat it has to blow my mind to get 5stars. Frank?s best is good but I don?t know if it?s worth the $$$. Will try the red pizza next time. Read more
Was it the best pizza I've ever had? No. Was it "affordable"? No. Will I return? Maybe. The one thing they could really stand to... improve is their tomato sauce, it's a little too "basic", it tasted like it was a pre-made canned tomato sauce, if it isn't,well, that would be were I would try and improve if I was the owner or chef. That's where they lost a star with me, everythingelse was pretty decent. $90 something dollars for two large pizzas and some chicken wings was a little steep. Read more
Had a bolognese slice?no complaints. The food and service is always great. The problem is they're offering slices now and... there's no real seating or standing tables anywhere. They need to at least have a few of those tables, because trying to findsomewhere to eat something portable is complicated if you don't have a car to go back to?in addition, the food might get coldand/or messy too. Otherwise, that's all. Also, I think the dip is nothing special. Read more
