Been here a few times and one of the best middle eastern restaurants in Toronto. I for sure enjoy it much more than Tabule! And... to be right by the beaches, absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend getting a bunch of their house-made dips to start. Some must-orders are the humus (believe me, it's way better than any humus you've tasted short of going to the middle east), thelabne is perfectly tart and creamy, and the babaganoush is creamy and smokey. The fried eggplant dip was also quite good withbig chunks of eggplant, but I think I prefer the others. Order a few of their freshly baked pita to go with the dips and youalmost have a meal on its own! For mains we've had the grilled whole sea bass, chicken schnitzel, grilled rainbow trout, lambkefta (daily special), lamb kabobs (daily special). They are all delicious! I did find the lamb kefta slightly dry at the time, but the flavours were on point. Personally, their fish is absolutely killer. The grill it so that it has a crispy exterior witha moist interior. Each main comes with a side, definitely try the freekeh which according to google, is made of young, greengrains of durum wheat. It has a nice texture and flavour to it, and even if you don't like rice, you'd enjoy this. The friescome out hot and crispy. The Limon Salad is a nice refreshing side. Steamed rice was a little plain, but I guess it's good forthose looking for a simpler, less salty/greasy option. Drinks are reasonably priced with a good variety. Service is great, attentive, and very friendly. So glad this place is close to us, as we've already been a few times and have never beendisappointed yet. A side note is that they only take reservations for tables of 5 or more. Read more

What a lovely restaurant! We?ve been here for lunch a few times, and the experience is absolutely wholesome every single visit.... The food is made with fresh ingredients and the service is consistently good. Also, opinion of one but Limon has the best hummusin town. Will be coming back with friends and family. Read more

We were just randomly looking for a place for lunch that wouldn't be too fried or plain old sandwiches and came across... Limon. It was exactly what I wanted for lunch. Tasty and not too heavy. I'm super picky about falafel and this one was just theway it should be. Not dry and crumbly like so many, and the pita was beautiful. The whole fish was also cooked well but thesalad was a bit too sour and neither of us could really eat it. We got 3 starter dishes (the 3 for $18 deal) and have to saythey were a little too big to have those and a meal. The best part was that for once beet salad was ALL beets! I'm so used tothat meaning a few pieces of beets tossed with a bunch of greens. Not here. It was all beets. Big positive. The one server wasvery nice but the other one (or food runner?) was quite abrupt and unfriendly. A special bonus was the Israeli juice. It's beenmany years since I've seen it on a menu. My favourite bagel place (long since closed down) used to have it so when I saw"strawberry banana juice" from Israel I didn't want to get too excited... but it was! Exactly as I remember :) I may return justfor that alone. This place could be perfect to me if they had Israeli couscous on the menu. So few (if any) places around thearea do. Read more

What a great restaurant! The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. I had a fantastic lunch and will certainly be... back this summer. Next time, I'd like to try their sea bream with salad. Make sure to try Burrata salad. It's great for sharingand it tastes amazing. As a suggestion, their menu would benefit from adding fresh lemonade (not a slushy and not from abottle/can) and freshly squeezed juice (e.g. pomegranate, grapefruit, orange). When it comes to seafood on the menu, it is notclear whether rainbow trout, sea bream, and salmon are farmed or wild. I don't like to eat farmed fish. I'm sure there arepeople out there who also prefer wild fish only. It would be helpful to know whether seafood items on the menu are wild orfarmed. A small "wild" and "farmed" sticker next to each item can address this issue. Read more
