Reviews for Lahore Tikka House in Toronto, ON
Street style food. Great flavours and spices like you would find in Pakistan. Plastic cutlery and 'order from the counter' is... why I gave this four stars. Authentic and yummy! Read more
This place may have served good food in the past; but has slowly detoriated in food quality and service over the years. We... recently decided to go to Lahori Tikka House to eat and wow, we were shocked on how much worse it?s gotten this year. We orderedribs, lamb chops, kebab and daal. Upon ordering the chops and ribs, we requested that the kitchen make sure they can sendeverything out at once so our naan and daal don?t get cold. The wait staff flatly refused and said that when the food is ready,it will come out. Our daal and naan actually came out 15 minutes early and it was terrible! We had to wait 15 minutes andeverything was cold by the time the barbecue arrived. The lamb chops (which used to taste amazing) were also heavilydisappointing - they changed up the spices they use for these chops and they didn?t taste as good. The ribs were just straightburnt, no one even finished them because they were that bad. The kebab was good. The service and wait staff were actually justTERRIBLE and downright disrespectful. I was shocked. Our ?server? was Mittal and I?ve dined at spots before with questionableservice, but this waiter would actually IGNORE us and pretend she couldn?t hear us while she walked by. The first two times shedid it, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. By the third time, I was shocked. We wanted to order sodas, and I called her andshe straight ignored me! I actually walked up to the front for every request after that (napkins, to go boxes, etc). I was soturned off. As someone whose worked in the food service and hospitality industry, I can confidently say this woman needs to takea lesson on waitressing and also basic human decency and respect. This restaurant left a bad taste in my mouth. It?s tragicsince our family have been loyal customers since the 90?s. But today that all changed. We definitely won?t be back. There arehundreds of better desi restaurants out there. This place is old news. Take your business elsewhere! Read more
My family and I go there each time we miss home and we always return with a smile on our faces - this time was no... different! Let's get on with what I ordered! For the appetizers, we shared a chaat papri (vegetarian) and a plate of BBQ beefribs (made with halal meat). The juicy ribs were perfectly made, with the right amount of seasoning and an amazing smoky flavorthat left us wanting more! Furthermore, the chaat papri complimented the taste well, with the spicy and sweet chutneys leaving arefreshing taste to prepare us for the main course! For the main course, we went with 3 curries - chicken tikka (halal), chanamasala (vegetarian chickpea curry), and paneer tikka masala (vegetarian). All 3 curries were cooked to perfection and went wellwith the buttery garlic naan, giving us a luscious meal that satisfied us completely. With a wonderfully-constructed easternaesthetic, relaxing ambience, and expert staff, one can easily see why Lahore Tikka House is a common favorite hub for SouthAsians. Highly recommended for more reasons than one! To hear about this review, follow us @eatinontario on Instagram, TikTok,and Facebook. Read more

Staff was friendly and courteous. The interiors are beautiful. I just ordered one item for take out- the chicken seekh kebab.... Good quantity and presentation- could?ve been a bit better in terms of taste. After eating it with the sauce it tasted better. But will definitely want to try other items and hopefully have a dine-in experience. Read more
Easily the best Pakistani food in Toronto. Authentic taste and interior decor. We loved the long list of items available on the... menu. Lots of seating options available including outdoor seating. The staff seemed overwhelmed with orders and there could bea wait for your order to arrive. We had to call out the staff few times to remind them about our order. Other than that thefood was mind blowing. If you like spicy and hot south Asian food then this is the place to be. Be ready to spend though as it?snot cheap. But it?s worth every penny! Read more
This place lives up to its ?Best Pakistani Restaurant in Toronto? easily not just in food but also in excellent service. We went... to the place, it was so packed and we were like 8th or 9th on the waiting list with a 25 min wait time. Like all other we didn?tmind waiting but the way the greeter actually made sure every time a table was free the transition was smooth, also went as muchas making impromptu tables to ensure everyone can be served on time. When we were seated way sooner than we expected, theservice was just wonderful. Food was delicious. Best chicken kebabs I have had ever. Would recommend anyone passing by Gerradstreet to visit even if the wait time can be long it will definitely be worth it. Read more
