My partner had never tried ramen so I brought him here for a first taste, now he's dying to come back. Full-flavoured broth and... delicious, fresh ingredients, prepared with excellence and care. However, as an appetizer we had the karaage chicken and itactually stole the show. Divine. A must-try. Read more

This is one of my favourite places east of the city. The noodles are delicious and the soup broth is warm. Don't hesitate to try... their rice dishes or chicken karage either. The restaurant was a bit quiet around lunch, and I do recommend eating it while it'shot! Read more

This Japanese Ramen restaurant is near the beach (around a 10-minute walk from the beach). Kyouka original ramen $16.99 (Total... including tax $19.20 CAD) I ordered this ramen as the staff recommends this item. To be honest, I would eat this ramen again ifI visit this restaurant. Super friendly staff, and a unique house kelp broth with chewy thick noodles. The house broth is salty and surprisingly light... but super savoury and flavorful. The pork topping with the dipping noodles is a bit on the dry side but otherwise soft anddelicious. If you like thick squiggly noodles this is your spot. Also love the option for spicy and FIRE level on most of thebowls, haha. Bowl at the table in like 2 minutes too. Update: Returned to try out another super unique bowl of ramen... with adill broth! Basically tasted like dill pickle chips in the form of ramen. Incredibly unique and really well executed. Love tosee a ramen joint in Toronto doing some exciting things with ramen and totally pulling it off. Upped to 5 stars from 4. Read more
