The sushi here is good but the restaurant layout and service are lacking. I tried the spicy chicken karage which was delicious... but you don?t have any side plates so it?s difficult to share with your group. We didn?t order any drinks and opted for water. However, we kept running out because they use wine bottles as a water vessel for some reason. The bottles don?t hold that muchand the servers don?t refill it that often so we kind of had to ration the water at one point. The space with the booths isreally cramped so don?t talk too loudly because you can hear other people right beside you. When I finished the combo the usedcutting board sat on the table for a good 15 min I think. No one wants to look at dirty dishes while they are trying to have aconversation. Maybe it was cause we had few a sushi left on another plate but they could have easily cleared the dirty dishes. The combos are good value but there are plenty of other better and affordable sushi places in the city. Good portions, fast, taste and presentation was good. I still give 5 stars but constructive feedback that I hope gets... heard.... I ordered a small party platter and received 24 soy sauces. Excessive and wasteful. Read more

Convenient sushi spot with decent lunch meal offers for when you?re in the area and craving sushi, but nothing special. Service... was lacking though as we had to get up and call for our waitress several times. Read more

TL;DR: Good sushi and service, nothing too extraordinary that blew me out of the water. Probably one of the better sushi... restaurant franchises I?ve got to try, Kibo has good sushi at a more expensive price range. The staff and food was good; onlycomplaint I have was the Rickey time was a bit slow for only 3 other tables there. I also really like the aesthetic of the Kiborestaurant. In short, good place to get your sushi fix but be prepared to spend a bit more. Read more

We ordered the Maki C set. The rice to filling ratio was perfect, and the maki pieces were larger than at other restaurants. We... were satisfied after the delicious and nicely seasoned meal. The spicy salmon roll was my favourite -it wasn?t as spicy as Iassumed it to be. There were lots of pickled ginger and wasabi on the side, which was great because I love ginger! The comboalso came with a side salad and a small bowl of miso soup. The presentation of the meal and the restaurant's ambiance waslovely. The servers were very friendly too! Read more

I ordered the Aburi Butterfish Dragon which had 10 large pieces ($14.95) and Maki, Sushi & Sashimi Combo A ($17.95) that came... with salad and miso soup. The rice to filling ratio was perfect and they were both beautifully plated and presented! The fishthey used was terrific and tasted very fresh. Only wished the server was more attentive and also explained what assorted sushiand sashimi pieces were selected for the combo. But overall, I enjoyed my meal and had a splendid experience. Really good sushi. The plating and presentation is extremely artistic and impeccable. Sushi tastes delicious. However, their... miso soup tastes more like pure soya sauce than soup so I would avoid that. Read more
