I've ordered from this Kibo location and others lots of times and I've almost always enjoyed their food a lot. Their sushi is... consistently great and their prices are very competitive. The only reason I say that I almost always enjoy their food is theyused to have shumai tempura on their menu, it was a genuine household favourite, but now, vanished from the menu. Sad, but stilla Kibo lover. Read more
We generally order 2-3 times per month from the Avenue Road location. We ordered from the location on Wilson because Avenue... Road was closed. Never again. The Wilson location was a completely different experience. Several of the pieces of fish were offand were put to the side with fear of food poisoning. The pieces were smaller than usual. Placement on the trays was sub par.The chopsticks, soy sauce trays and soy sauce packets were packed without the usual attention to detail. On a positive note,the wasabi had a great kick. If the Avenue Road location is closed again, we'll be going somewhere else for take out. If theowner or leadership of Kibo reads this, I encourage you to examine the Wilson location to ensure they're executing to thestandard we've experienced for years at the Avenue Road location. I?ve been ordering for months and always was 5 stars. I don?t know if they changed the Sushi man but unfortunately the food was... terrible this last time. Extremely unbalanced flavors, the spicy sushi was super spice, a lot more than usual and the visual ofthe food looking bad as well, like made in a rush. Not all the sushis were with the sauce on.
