This place is definitely worth trying if you are in the mood for a good steak and don?t want to spend a crazy amount. It?s 50$... for a bread and butter, salad, steak & fries and a sauce. Only the fries is unlimited and are not the best fries the only reasonthey were okay was because the sauce they come with is very good with them. i do feel like they should be using a better kind offries since it is the only side you can get with the steak and they should not use the cheapest fries because that?s the onlything that?s unlimited. The salad was good but they only put like 3 walnuts on it. The steak was very good and tender. It wouldbe nice if the bread and sauce was unlimited as all, as they only bring one small ramekin of sauce for 2 people. Overall wouldcome back as the steak and sauce was good! Read more

We order rare... and medium rare, fantastic taste steaks with amazing Béarnaise sauce. And the bakery and bread is authentic French style whichmade by their wonderful onwer. Worth a try guys! Great steakhouse in Toronto. Warm and cozy atmosphere. The staff are excellent and attentive. Our steaks were tender, tasty and... cooked to perfection. The owners recommendation for wine was perfect for the meal. The sides of fries, salad, and bread were allamazing. To top off the great meal you must try the desserts. Was happy to find J?s and we?re greeted by J at the door and promptly seated at our table. Service was friendly and efficient.... The menu is simple and an amazing value and delicious. The steak was perfectly prepared and was a good size. The butter saucewas freshly made and delectable. The fries were so good and we even had seconds. And to top it all was the individually made andfreshly prepared sticky date toffee pudding. Can?t wait to come back. A real Toronto gem. Read more
