This was my favourite spot for years, but over the past few months there has been a noticeable dip in quality (quantity?) - The... new staff are kind and work well, but they don?t serve you the portions I?m used to getting, which was loaded with gravy andchickpea stew so that the boxes are nearly overflowing. Guy behind the counter was very pleasant and friendly. Hispanic looking guy with hair in a ponytail. Was a bit of a line, means... it's popular I guess. I just got the rice n beans with gravy (didn't feel like meat) and it was delicious. Just like how Iremember it to be. Read more
Best Jerk Chicken in the city. Let me say, I'm not one of those people from the Caribbean who goes crazy over Jerk Chicken all... the time. I like it, but to me it's a food that just tastes good, but wouldn't go out of my way for it. That being said IWOULD GO OUT OF MY WAY FOR JERK KING'S CHICKEN. Great portions and even better taste, first time I've ever lined up for anyfood, that's how good it is, and their caramel flan is JUST like my Mom's. Read more

We had two meat eaters and one vegetarian in our party. The meat eaters thoroughly enjoyed the flavor of the jerk chicken roti... however felt that the chunks of potatoes were too large and too much in quantity (see picture as everyone took their leftoverchunks out and placed them in a single container). The vegetarian in the group basically received an entire roti with thesegiant potato chunks with a very small amount of chickpeas and spinach. I do not recommend this place for vegetarians at all asyou will be eating a meal of potatoes that you won?t be able to eat much of because of its larger size. Overall this was notsuitable for us for a family dinner as the vegetarians had little to eat other than potatoes, however the meat eaters willlikely order again. Read more

Had to run a few errands in the area and decided try the jerk chicken here. This meal was very filling and had a large portion... enough for 2. We were given three pieces of chicken that were cooked very well and seasoned generously. It was very flavourfuland savoury. The spicy sauce was a great addition to the meal. The beans were a little bit on the more soggier side which manypeople may or may not prefer. The coleslaw was also really good, but not enough for the meal, so I?d recommend to purchaseextra. It?s wonderful that the place is open till 4 am which is great if anyone is craving a midnight meal. Will definitely haveagain if I?m in the area. Overall I?d give this place an 8.4/10. Read more
