Don?t be mistaken with the appearance! The food is amazing and is fresh. The chicken falls of the bone and is marinated very... well and the spicy sauce (not that spicy) is a must to have with the rice. Would highly recommend this place. Read more
This location was great, the lady who took my order was very nice and had a pleasant demeanour. I had the large special of rice... and peas with chicken aha and it came with cole slaw. Wow. The service here tonight was horrendous. The girl working the reception was extremely rude and us the online order had... priority over us. I have been coming here for years and anytime the guy with long hair works, everything goes smoothly and thereare no issues. But anytime this girl works, she makes me never want to come back and this is what I?ve been hearing from manyothers. Jerk King is a small establishment on bloor st east of bathurst that has been a staple in the Annex community for years. They... serve tasty jerk chicken at a decent price though I believe some additional vegetables in the rice would balance the meat,notably green peas or corn. The jerk chicken roti is solid, nice and spicy and topped with chickpeas, a potato, and the gravy of your choice. The chicken... itself is super flavourful albeit a bit dry. Generous portions and solid service for a decent price. Read more
