You’ll have a new appreciation for Steak if you are like me and not a big red meat eater. The options are perfectly varied for... cuts and the quality is next to untouchable. The staff are clearly there for you and prioritize your needs. If you’re a winelover, the 80+ pages to choose from can overwhelm you. I would recommend viewing their menu before arriving. Had a wonderful experience here! Our waiter went through the menu thoroughly with us. He was super friendly and had a great... humour! The service overall was “attentive”. I got the Jacob’s Creek Wagyu and it had a thin, crisp skin - beautifullycooked and seasoned. Their bread is AMAZING. The food came within a reasonable amount of time. By far the best cut of steak you will ever have! The wagyu selections can look intimidatingly pricey but they are truly, pun... intended, a cut above the rest. If you're celebrating any kind of special occasion, Jacob's will will make it a meal toremember. Hands down, in my opinion, Jacobs & Co is the best steakhouse I ever had in Toronto! The ingredients used is of a high-quality;... and they were able to transform it into an amazing culinary experience. I never had a Japanese A5 Wagyu beef before and decidedto treat myself here, and it is worth it! The meat is very well marbled, “melt-in-your-mouth”, and offers exquisite texture.This is something worthy of ordering for special occasion. In addition, all the sides we ordered complement well with thesteak; and not to mention the perfect wine pairing that bodes well with everything. To top it off, our server was very attentiveand amazing to ensure our dining experience run seamlessly. Overall, Jacobs & Co exceeded my expectation and I highly recommendthis if you are looking for a fine dining steakhouse. We would be coming back in the near future for sure! Read more
Honestly, it was really really good. Got the Guelph T-Bone steak which was super tender and was great with their salts as well.... If you're self-conscious about gnawing on the bone at a fancy restaurant definitely pack it up and go nuts at home coz you don'twant to waste any of it. The most surprising thing was the Cesar Salad, they make it at the table for you and it was genuinelythe best salad I've ever had. One order comes with two servings and was worth every penny which I never thought I would say whengoing to a steakhouse. Can't deny that it's pricey so for most people this would really only be a place to go for a specialoccasion. You can probably expect to spend around $100/person for a decent meal, but you can easily double or triple thatdepending on what you order. One thing that is pretty great is that their sides are huge and can easily serve two so the $21isn't as bad as it seems on paper, but they also do half portions if you prefer. Read more
Excellent experience here - would absolutely come back for another special occasion. Service was A+… very attentive and... thoughtful. All of the staff were very kind and professional. A variety of steak is offered here - the menu selection slightlyvaries each time. We got the 600 day aged steak… it was a very unique experience, worth a try at least once. The other agedsteak we got was cooked to a med-rare perfection. The sides we got were amazing. They offer half-sizes so for those that want totry a bit of everything, definitely recommend doing this smaller size! Second time having their food. The first time we did takeout due to the pandemic. Today we got a chance to eat in for a personal... milestone. The ambiance is perfect. Service is top-notch. Best of the best. Super delicious food. Our server Mac was amazing, super knowledgeable and hospitable. True definition of fine... dining. We came here for an anniversary dinner and he made us feel so special. From great food recommendations to complimentarybreakfast muffin for the next morning. The entire server team was great as well. The team work was amazing. From clearing offthe table after every course, refilling our water and even refolding our cloth napkins.
