The cutest place on Wards island. The food at Centre island is super bad so I was so happy to come here. The service is so, so... friendly. The drinks are great (we had the mojitos they were boozy, refreshing and perfect for a hot summer day). I had the fishand chips and I really enjoyed it. The batter is so crispy and flavourful. And the chips are awesome! Especially with thejalapeño aioli. But the location is truly the star of the show. It’s so well maintained. I was sitting next to theirvegetable patch, facing the water. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the food! We had the burger with salad, fish and chips, and chicken... wings, all the items and sides are done beautifully! Definitely better than the other franchise style places on the island. Igive them 8.5/10! Read more

Had the best experience ever in a restaurant celebrating a special occasion. The staff decorated our table with flowers from... the garden and did everything in their power to make our experience unique and wonderful. After ordering only a bottle ofsparkling wine they catered us with loads of appetizers and did not even charge us for it. 100% recommend when on wards island. Read more

Spontaneously popped over to the island for dinner a few weeks ago, I grabbed the vegan burger and my boyfriend got the fish and... chips. Although the food was nothing special, I would return for just the atmosphere and service ??. Their patio faces the sunset over the lake and it’s a very short walk from the ferry port. Our server was Owen, and he was hustling through all thetables while having a positive attitude and delivering great service - he was literally the best! Would def return!! Read more
Had the tuna tataki. Everything on the plate was way too salty and the tuna did not taste fresh (kinda had a frozen taste).... Disappointed that I paid nearly $20 for such a small portion that I couldn’t even enjoy. Was here on another occasion andordered the vegan wrap, that was much better. Read more
