Exceptional service by friendly and attentive staff. It's a great place for fine Japanese cuisine with many unique offerings and... a good sake menu. We found the portions to be generous as well. I would certainly return when I'm in the mood for an intimate, elevated dining experience Read more

We waited more than ONE HOUR for our food, has anyone waited THAT long for an extremely mediocre meal? Our tempura shrimp was... completely overcooked, maybe that?s why our food came so late. Service was polite but practically nonexistent, they neverchecked up on us. Soba had a good texture but nothing to brag about, portions are small with a price that can?t be justified bythe quality either. Overall an extremely tedious and drawn out meal, definitely won?t recommend this place (unless you like towait more than one hour for food). Read more

We have been loyal clients for years since they were on Bay Street. Riki is simply the best Japanese chef in the World. We will... go no where and only go back to Riki San whenever we want to eat Japanese food. Read more

Good quality food and very friendly staff, though it's not necessarily the best value. I had the avocado roll, the beef tataki,... agadeshi tofu, and the gy?zas. I would give all of them a 4 out of 5. Tasty but not spectacular. Read more

"Wow" food quality and service. Place gets packed fast so reservation is recommended. All tastes really great so compared to... most places one can say "so that's what I was missing" :- ) Read more

We went on a Friday night around 7:45 without reservations and did not have to wait long for a table for two. The waitress was... pretty friendly, but a little slow to take our orders and accommodate our needs. The sushi was excellent. This was actually myfirst time having uni, so I can't say how it stacked up compared to other places. Overall though all the cuts felt very fresh. The Chirashi bowl had a good assortment, and the roe was a nice touch. Our favorite part of the meal was the negi-toro, whichwas very delicate and tasty. Our least favorite was the Karaage, which was a bit soggy and bland. This place is a bit pricey, but has a nice feel to it and has some very fresh cuts. The slow service could also use some work as many people after us werestanding in line while there were available but uncleaned tables that were not dealt with until much later. Read more
