If you have no objection to paying for $30 a head for all you can eat, and having to pay an additional $11-12 for the broth that... is required to cook the meat and other ingredients for your meal, this is your place. Make sure everyone in your party bringscash or have someone willing to pay up front for everyone, as they only separate the bill when you pay cash. We did not findthis out until after we'd been directed to the register to pay. Read more

20.99 for lunch but additional 4.99 for a soup base. The ingredients are fresh. good selection, and the meats are nicely shaved... and tasty. There is also a funky robot that serves you. Only downside they seem to have gotten rid of their free drinks. Read more

Delicious. Great quality of meats, excellent broth, and ..friendly service! It was the first hot pot experience for a few of my... friends and the server explained how the menu works. That?s just very nice for a super Chinese place. We also chilled for hoursand it was all good and we got free Melona bars which blew my mind. Definitely coming back and telling everybody. Don?t comeright at 4pm though, they might not actually be opened yet Read more

This restaurant is my favourite hot pot places to go to in Toronto. I frequent this place often with my boyfriend and family for... their wide variety of dishes to add to the pot, their affordability, and their location in the downtown core. Happy Lamb has awide variety of selection to choose from, more so for those dining in the evening. Their soup bases are tasty and compliment anymeat, vegetable, tofu, etc. very well. I would recommend the clear broth for those who think they?re good with spicy foods, thenext step up is extremely spicy! You can purchase soup bases to share or individually, the larger size is good for 2-4 people. Iwould recommend the individual option if someone has an allergy to peanuts or sesame just to precent cross-contamination fromthe sauces. I deducted one star however for the ambiance. Although there is never any waiting, the restaurant does look a bitdead at times and quiet. I find that they don?t play music frequent enough or loud enough while dining. However, their food isdelicious nonetheless. It?s a diamond in the rough if you will. I would recommend coming here for a casual dinner with friendsor family. You?re here for the food, not the experience/ambiance. Read more

Happy Lamb has the yummiest hot pot experience. With a variety of meats, veggies, and other variety of food presented to your... order, you can cook at your own pace with your own personal hot pot. Temperature is in your control! For cold winter nights inDowntown Toronto - to summer gathering with friends or family, I cannot recommend this cozy restaurant enough! The mangopopsicle was a great way to finish such an indulgent meal. Update - went a month later, still delicious as ever! Shrimp cakewas neat in the hot pot! Read more

This is one of the most affordable AYCE (All You Can Eat) Hotpot joints where you literally can order off the menu as much as... you need (or want for that matter). There is a lunch menu and dinner menu where the lunch menu is pretty much mostly vegetableor processed meat items like fishballs etc and frozen meats (basically all hotpot places use frozen meat as I think it's morehygenic and easier to cut). For the lunch menu they don't have sliced meat option so you got to add like $5 or something for it,but if you go during dinner, it is more expensive but you get a way larger variety of meats and spare parts (like tripes, stomach, intestines and frog legs etc). They have a weekend surcharge which is additional CAD 1 before tax and tips from Fridayto Sunday and public holidays. Soup base is not included in the AYCE price and they have small single soup base pots or a largepot for sharing or even better, a large pot with dual soup base where you can choose from. If I remember correctly the soupbases are tomato, clear, spicy, sour and spicy (different from just spicy). Depending on your choice of small single pots orlarge shared pot, they will assign you different table types as the tables have the 2 different types of configurations, electronic individual pot stoves or one large pot stove. Basically food wise, soup base wise and ingredients wise they aregreat. This place is not small but if I didn't remember wrongly, they only had like 3 servers (where one of they also collectspayment) for a space of more than 15 tables so for hungry customers who eat very fast or don't order enough, you'll have to waitquite long before their server comes to you. One key thing to note is no matter how much quantity you specify on your ordersheet, they kind of ignore that and just give what they think is adequate for the number of people in the group or number orreorders (the more reorders, I reckon the lesser the quantity, even though I specified like 3 * 3 prawns, I was g Read more

I CANT WAIT TO COME BACK!! my friend and i came here for the first time and for our first hot pot experience and that?s exactly... what it was?an experience! the gentleman working, who was serving us, was absolutely amazing! he explained everything to us, howit works, what?s good, what?s popular and when the food came to the table, he showed us how to properly cook everything andexplained exactly how long for! the service was amazing, they gave us a pitcher of water which my friend and i both drank andjust as we emptied the first, they came with a new, full pitcher of water. we went with the spicy and the original broth?did theyin yang and we also ordered lamb and beef. the meat was exceptional, the soup broth was hot and salty and spicy and flavorful, the veggies were fresh, the service was amazing, our table was never empty! they also ensured we had enough soup broth at alltimes, topping it up when it was getting low as this is crucial to an enjoyable hot pot experience. there were tons of optionson the menu from veggies to seafood to tofu to additional meats. there is something for everyone! one of my favourite things wasmaking your own sauce! our server let us know which combination was popular if we were unsure which to mix and that was also anawesome recommendation! all around amazing. i honestly can not wait to come back here and i can?t wait to tell all my friendsabout how great happy lamb is! an excellent experience, and high quality food. thank you, i will see you again soon!! **(ishould also mention they are following all covid/vaccine mandate protocols and they were very friendly and thorough about it!!!!was very very clean and safe!!)** Read more

This hot pot place is amazing. It?s my favourite spot. The soup is very flavourful even on its own. They have many options for... ur soup different types of noodles and veggies and cuts of meat. Last time I went was externally busy at around 6pm. They had arobot that would deliver your food to ur table as well as the servers who would bring ur drinks and take ur orders. It is a butexpensive, about 70$ per person on the weekend. So it?s better to go during the week so it?s not as busy and expensive. Read more
