Amazing ambiance, lovely interior design, service was very fast and efficient. They were flexible and accommodated dietary... restrictions. Also, the Aloo Tikki which is only available on the weekend is exquisite. The samosas have a layer of seasoningand stuffings in the middle! Would come again for the experience and the food. We visited ISKCON Temple and after 12.30 AARTI, went to Govinda for Lunch. Not much crowd. Atmosphere was peaceful. Menu is not... very elaborate but their fixed amount Thali is sufficient for one person. This is not in buffet style but served on Table. Asexpected, the food is SATVIK, tasty and not at all spicy. Some religious books are displayed for sale within the restaurantarea. Read more

Compact plates with decent quantity. Clean. Average vegeterian taste in a calm peaceful setting.

The veg thali was excellent - everything was super tasty and filling. I didn?t realise it came with a samosa and dessert on top... of the rice, chapati, three curries and cup of dhal! The restaurant space in the old church has a great atmosphere - verypeaceful. I just wish they would use non-plastic plates and cutlery for dine-in. Would love to try all of their other thalidishes another time! Read more

Great place to have free meal on Sunday with some spiritual sessions. Also they have restaurants you can order through Uber... eats. I tried their veg thali and it?s amazing. Prices are little high of thali as it should be $9.99 coz You offering free foodtoo .It would be great for any student who can?t cook and They can afford easily. Love this place ?? must visit once ???? Read more

Great place for a sit down and have a pure vegetarian meal. The Iskon temple is in the same building and closed currently due to... covid (or opens up for short time? ). Limited menu (A thali for 12+ CAD, samosa plate for 5 CAD, samosa chat for 7 etc). Fewtables only. But spacious. Apparently the building is pretty old and was acquired in 1972. It was earlier known as Gateway ToToronto. Read more

I had been eyeing this place for a while now, finally decided to visit. The platter was delicious! A good variety of different... flavors with an interesting balance of sweet, salty and plain. When I saw it I thought the portions were small but I couldbarely finish it all, and the only thing that kept me going was the delicious flavors. People were kind and attentive, and whenI went it was mostly empty so it had this calming environment. Would definitely go again! Read more
