General Assembly has 2 options for pizza now. Either a fresh made pizza or a frozen one (which is a fraction of the price).... Because the fresh pizzas were 50% off today on Ritual, I ordered a ?fresh? loving cup pizza and was given their frozen, lowerquality version. Pretty pathetic guys. Just because it?s Food Fest (50% off pizzas) on Ritual, doesn?t mean you can cheap outand give customers a lower quality food item for the same price as it normally would be. Update: spoke to the manager and wasoffered to try another loving cup. The second photo shows the pizza I received. The flavours were there, but unfortunately halfof the pizzas crust was burnt so I couldn?t enjoy it properly. But nonetheless I am thankful for the customer service received. Read more

It was a decent pizza joint with cool atmosphere and delicious pizzas. The food took a bit longer than we?d like to come out but... I would say that the wait was well worth it. If you don?t mind the heat, I recommend the sweet heat - it was an interestingflavour of sweetness from the honey mixed with the spiciness of the chillies. The other pizzas were pretty amazing as well andwould recommend that you try this place out! Read more

I wanted to love this place but with pizza being the star of the show, this place was pretty disappointing. The interior is... super cute with the cafeteria style ordering. There's lots of craft beers on tap and seating for grabbing a quick bite with afriend. The toppings on our pizzas were delicious, however the dough and the crust itself really let my taste buds down. I getthat it's thin-style pizza but some of my slices were almost translucent, while other slices were burnt beyond edible. Read more

Super cute and affordable place to get pizza! They have a variety of pies and wines here. For dine in, it's a self serve, order... and pay at counter, grab your own water place. We got our food (Margherita and mushroom pizza) within 15 minutes ofordering. Both were great. The staff were very nice and welcoming, and refilled our water for us. Lots of plants for a cozyenvironment too Read more

Despite having different plans, we came to GA Pizza based on the smell emanating from the wood burning stone ovens. Smelling the... cooked bread and meats was distinguishable enough for us to head on in and give it a try. We ordered the Sweet Heat, CertifiedLover Boy, Red Hook and the chips and dip. All three were wonderfully cooked and tasted great. Obviously, the price is higherfor a smaller pizza than you would get from a normal chain but it's much lighter and easier to digest. Overall wonderful pizzabut as pizza isn't a forte of mine, I'm not one to be overwhelmed. However this interior space and feel was beautiful and isdefinitely accommodating for large groups. One of the more well known pizza joints in the city, General Assembly has a good mix of unique pizzas which are available for... dine in and delivery/take out. All of their pizzas are made fresh in house, including the frozen pizzas which can be baked athome. Highly recommended to come as a group and order a bunch of pizzas to share as they are personal sized (enough just forone person on its own) but are shareable. Pizzas tried were the Certified Lover Boy (basically a meat lovers pizza), Red Hook(spicy sausage pizza), Sweet Heat (sweet and spicy pizza) and Hot Potato (a favorite). Read more

General Assembly is one of my favorite places to visit when coming to Toronto. The atmosphere is great with good music that... isn't too loud. The place feels cozy and intimate and you get to see the chefs make your pizza before putting them in the woodfired ovens. We ordered a general bread, a Caesar salad, a sweet heat pizza, a hot potato pizza and they even threw in aFerngully pizza in for free for us to try. It was only the two of us and our eyes were way bigger than our stomachs but it alltasted 10/10. On top of the generosity of the free pizza the servers were so polite, kind and attentive, checking in to see howthings were going, if the food tasted good, offered us hooks for our purses and to refill our water. An overall wonderfulexperience and I can't wait to come back again. Read more
