I went here for brunch and it was terrible. We got a plate of eggs, bacon, sausage, tater tots, and fresh fruit, as well as the... poutine. They somehow did almost everything wrong. The "fresh fruits" were two orange wedges. The toast was barely browned. Thetater tots tasted... old. The outer crisp was very dry, too thick, and tough. The eggs and bacon were just eggs and bacon. Thepoutine was salty. The sausages were dry and burnt. We also ordered the red sangria. It had very little wine and was only toppedwith strawberries and nothing else. We sat in the patio area yet somehow our table was infested with fruit flies crawling allover the food. The table was uneven. The chairs were dirty. Our first cup of water came stained with lip stick. Our cups for thesangria were cloudy... we couldn't tell if they had stains or were just old. To top it all off, the washroom smelt like someonehad urinated on the walls and ceiling and the staff just wiped everything with a mop and smeared the smell into the room. I feltsorry for the people sitting next to the toilets. They would get a whiff of urine every time the door opened. Other than thefact that you can't rate a place 0 stars, the restaurant gets 1 star because they at least has a good team of hosts and servers.They were kind and attentive. Read more
Service was okay (maybe a little understaffed during lunch). And the food was also just okay. Good no reservation option.
We only had cocktails and shots, we did not order food. Drinks were average, on the sweet side. Everyone is seated, no... opportunity to be very social there. Nice outdoors space, friendly service though a bit pushy. It was ok. Maybe a place to gowith your friends for dinner and drinks, before heading somewhere else with more weekend vibe. Read more
There is nothing better than comfy chairs, simple vegetarian comfort foods( Beyond Meat Shepherds Pie and the Beyond Meat... Burger), excellent service, and not being rushed even though it was super busy. What made it even better ,was the live DJ . Hisstellar mixes are what sealed the deal for our dining experience . The worst ever food experience. The food quality has dropped a lot. The stuffed chicken was definitely different from before and... was so disappointing. Both chicken and smashed photo tasted old. The lobster pasta, even below than food court level I wouldsay. Didn?t see seafood inside and tasted awful. Price has increased but food quality has dropped dramatically. Read more
The only reason for going there would be that they serve alcohol and food until 2 AM. Otherwise, the food is expensive, the... servers are very nice people but the music is so loud inside and they can't really hear you, so gotta walk after them, the foodis 2.5/5 on average. On the bright side, they have after hour tequila shots for $4 or $5 BUT their shots for some reason do notwork on me or my companion. The music inside is way too loud as mentioned, the outside is nice. The calamari portion is way toosmall for $20, the salads are composed of just 2 grape tomatoes and cucumber on a bed of spinach for $23 (look at the photo*extra $3-4 for the chicken*), the pasta was actually not bad, but it did taste like a ready-to-make out of packaging pasta,still good. Overall, will be back because the servers are quite nice and the tequila shots are cheap, but NOT for theenvironment or the food. Read more
I had the best service at fox and fiddle tonight, this is by far one of my favourite go-to restaurants. Other than their food... and good vibes, their service is amazing and would definitely rate it a 10/10. I was nicely greeted at the door and once I wasseated, I kindly waited for my waitress that didn?t take long to start serving us. Our waitresses name was Xena and let me tellyou she did an amazing job! I couldn?t have asked for a better waitress, she treated us so nicely, had great energy and was ontop of everything. Overall, she was great and did not disappoint. I?m definitely returning and looking forward to having anothergreat experience. Read more
