Incredible cuisine, incredible atmosphere, incredible staff. The moment you step inside Flor Dois it feels as if you have been... transported to a quaint restaurant in Western Europe. I ordered the Portuguese Medley, Mushroom Tasting, Creamy Escargot,Grilled Octopus and Sizzling Piri Piri Shrimp. For dessert I ordered the Flor Dois Sampler. Had a birthday dinner for 16 people on Saturday night. It's a new restaurant that opened a little over a month ago so it was not... that busy on a Saturday night, but I have a feeling the word will get out pretty soon and it will fill up fast. Great smallplates & tapas. Everything I ate was delicious. From the warm chorizo bread and warm olives, to the not so chewy at all octopusand the crunchy, yet gooey deep friend halloumi cheese - it was all super tasty. Wait staff was extremely attentive and the mealwas not overly expensive per person. I'd highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fine dining tapas joint oncollege. Fine dining & luxurious interior, perfect date location to impress, live music also available. The food is on point, delectable... flavours in the Mediterranean style. Warm atmosphere, excellent for groups & couples, with dinning rooms for privacy,exceptional if you want to carry on a conversation or a romantic evening. No dress code, but with the elegant environmentdressing up fits in. The Tapas are well seasoned & cooked to perfection, prices reflect the quality. The hosts seated usquickly, the bar makes great drinks, the servers are helpful & gracious, very attentive. Parking available on the street meteror lot parking.
