I really liked our server, he was very helpful and welcoming. Although the restaurant was packed, our appetizers prepared very... quickly. However, calamari was very greasy and the pasta didn’t cook well. Crispy artichoke was delicious definitely recommendit! *Unfortunately, my friend and I got sick after a couple of hours it was nothing major but, the only thing we shared wascalamari and it was definitely because of it! Solid spot for drinks and a light shareable meal. Nothing spectacular and mind blowing but a solid spot with good options.... Cocktails were fun and I suggest you ask for extra sourdough for the ricotta dish since they definitely dont give enough breadfor the amount of ricotta dip Read more

Wow! Superb experience here at Figo. You absolutely NEED to try their calamari, I can safety say it is the best I’ve ever had.... Food was impeccable, still thinking about it a day later. The atmosphere in the restaurant was beautiful and comfortable tospend an evening in. Although we didn’t have a reservation we were able to grab a table form the host without any issue. Theopen kitchen was a great touch to the experience and I’m excited to return and try more things on the menu! Read more

Good ambience and amazing live music. Starters were good but vegetarian main course I had cheese steak with beans which was a... big Neah. My friend had fresh ocean bass fish which was tasty but he felt it's a little overpriced. Also the live performancewas cancelled last minute which was disappointing ???? not to mention that the server was either disinterested or too busy butdidn't enjoy the service either It's a good place for groups but they need to improve the service unless this was a one off notso great experience. We went to Figo Toronto on a weekend brunch time, we got seats right away since we had reservations. It wasn’t too busy, we... also got drinks and menus when we sat down. We ordered the Eggs Florentine ($19) with a medium poached egg which was perfectlymade. The home fries needed some salt but everything else was tasty. We also got the Spaghetti Carbonara ($21) which was good, but nothing too special compared to other carbonara we had before. The Ricotta pancakes ($17) was good, but we hoped to tastethe ricotta more. Overall, the food was okay and the waiters were efficient. The place is nice to take pictures in. Read more

Superb place to have a weekend getaway. They have a pretty nice patio.pizza is a must try, thin crust with fresh toppings.... Calamari is one of the best I had in recent times (in terms of freshness). We had been taken care by one of the best staff whoguided us through the menu since we were new. We also tried linguine frutti Di mare it was also good enough. I would recommendto try the pizza and calamari. Read more

We went there after the show on a weekend. We did not have a reservation. The host was able to fit us for one hour, but he... commented that if we don’t leave in one hour he will have a manager walk us out from the restaurant. After we swallowed hisunnecessary comment, the rest of our experience at Figo was amazing. The food was delicious- we had excellent beer, calamari, seafood pasta and mushrooms. Everything tasted great, tender and flavourful. The coffee was strong and perfect. The best was thelast - amazing dessert of tiramisu. I am planning to go back for more soon! Read more

I was really conflicted on how many stars I should give this restaurant and unfortunately I can only give 3 stars for the... following main reason: the food was salty. I’ll start off with the pros of this restaurant which is the obviously the interiorof the place that is inviting and creates a warm and sexy ambience with their floral ceiling amongst other interior decoratingtouches. However, the food is what should come above the interior of a restaurant. We ordered the truffle pizza, calamari, greensalad, seafood stew, and the short beef pasta. The first bite of all dishes seemed good but as you swallow the first bite, youfind yourself following it with big gulps of water, in particular the calamari, pizza and seafood stew. It became obvious ofthis as the majority of us agreed the food was salty but also the constant refills of water we had to chase down the salt andalso stay hydrated. Perhaps it was just a bad first time experience and other days the food isn’t salty? The service was justalright and it’s not because the server wasn’t kind. It was hard to get the server to come check on us and get theirattention as the short beef pasta was punched in but the kitchen forgot to make it. We had asked what happened and realized itwas forgotten by the kitchen. They were nice enough to comp the pasta for forgetting to make it. Despite all this, would Ireturn? Probably not. Read more
