It?s been several years since I?ve been to Ed?s. The ice cream is still as good as I remember it. Definitely a top ice cream... shop in Toronto. The burnt marshmallow ice cream is a must try. The espresso was incredible as well. I dare you to walk by Ed?sand not stop in for a scoop. Read more
Worst ice cream place i have been to. Right when i got the cone it started leaking from all sides and at the bottom through the... napkin despite only being one scoop, leaked over my clothes etc . and this place no longer has any indoor or outside seats soforget hoping to enjoy an ice cream because there's no where to go after. There is a line up for this place but worth the small wait because its really good ice cream! Nice size scoops, great smooth... consistency and good flavours! Would recommend the waffle cones????only thing is I ordered a cone and they gave me a cup too, Iguess in case the ice cream fell out, but I think its unnecessary because I?m just gonna eat it before that happens! Went on a Friday evening, line was about 8-10 folks. Had the burnt marshmallow and Mercury espresso ~ very delicious and... reasonably priced for the proportion. Sat across the street and watched the line grow to 20-25 people easily for a consistentperiod. Read more
A local legend; a neighbourhood gem. The staff are always friendly, the flavours are always top-notch. Two flavours in every cup... (for those like me who can?t decide on just one). The marshmallow flavour is very sweet but Ed?s makes a good one. The mercuryespresso flavour uses beans from next door (talk about supporting local!) but the coffee crunch flavour is slightly stronger incoffee taste. The hogtown fog is great for those who like earl grey tea. The sweet cream and vanilla bean can never disappoint.There is also a selection of gelato if you?re interested. Read more
