Been here a few times - twice with friends and once for a team bonding event. The food is generally quite good here, but I?m... not a huge fan of some of the fusion items (like the pho poutine). Interesting Viet fusion combinations. Food was good but I would say it is on the pricier side based on the portions provided.... There seems to be too many flavours incorporated into the dishes. It be nice to keep it a bit more simplistic. The menu is verylimited if you come before dinner time, which was a bit disappointing. Crumble was very good as a dessert to end off the mealthough. Viet coffee was strong but too much ice. Environment gives off a bar and hipster feel but table was sticky and could bebetter wiped down. Read more
Came here on a Friday night and it was really easy to find parking. The food was delicious and some of the drinks were really... good as well. I ordered the Old Hanoi drink, thinking it would be similar to an Old Fashioned but I was way off! We had a groupof 8 and TAKE NOTE: they do not do separate bills for parties of 6 or more. The place has a nice vibe and great food! I woulddefinitely come here again. The one knack against this place is the food service was extremely slow. if you wanted cool aesthetics and atmosphere, this place is the place to be! the menu consists of mainly fusion food between... Western and Viet cuisine. however, note that some menu items are limited to certain days of the week (mostly towards the end ofthe week/weekend). our group ended up not being able to order what we wanted because it wasn't available. Saw this place from my friends ig post and decided to give it a try. I was blown away from the interior design when I walked... in, it was decorated nicely and gave Vietnam's vibes. I ordered the Saigon chicken wings, and originally wanted the beef w eggon rice, however, the server punched in the wrong order and got me the sizzling beef on rice. Although I was anticipating forthe beef with fried egg, this one ordered and given to me by error was good too. The chicken wings were nicely seasoned andtastes really good. My boyfriend got the bun with grilled chicken and he said that the chicken was very flavourful. Overall,the foods was good! They did have a wait time, so heads up if you want to come here, make a reservation through the phone, theytake reservations for 2 people now too. Read more
Delicious authentic Vietnamese street food. Great portions for a reasonable price. Loved the cocktail menu there. I had Old... Hanoi, which was awesome and came with real wood smoke. It is similar to old fashion cocktail. I like that the tables were farfrom each other to maintain the social distancing. Overall great place. Will come back again. Read more
Visited for the first time today and I LOVED it! First of all, the decor/ambiance is so amazing. A modern and artsy... representation of Vietnam with so many beautiful lanterns and other fun art. The food was so good! They have a vegetarian optionwith fake beef which was delicious. My friend had a short rib pho which she loved! The drinks looked amazing though we didn?thave my. Food - Viet fusion with a little twist. It's not a true fusion with a specific culture, but it is not your typical Viet... fare?Delicious, well-portioned, and beautiful presentation. I enjoyed the savoury dishes. All my friends enjoyed theirmeal. Service: They were friendly, professional and courteous. They checked in on us and refilled our water often. Ambiance- Iloved the decor. It paid homage to Vietnam. They captured the anesthetic. The chairs were, however, uncomfortable to sit in asthey were small. I understand it's supposed to be authentic, but I rather have padding. They do have a patio outside and plentyof seating. Overall, I recommend it. Plus, it's near the AGO! Read more
