Found this place from the summerlicious list 2022. Asked what size pizza would be part of the lunch menu, and it would have been... 1/2 of a small pizza. So about 2 slices. We ended up ordering from the regular menu, didnt need the app or the dessert. Morepizza. Ive had authentic detroit pizza. This was comparable. Not as thick and fluffy as it is in Detroit, but good attempt.Ordered the double meat (pepperoni and sopprasetta), and the mushroom pizza. I feel like we should have known ordering 2 meatswould result in an extremely salty pizza. It wasnt the sauce, cheese, or pepperoni on its own. But together it was salty. I'dsay ordering the hot and honey sauce ( or just honey ) $2 for a small container helped offset the saltiness. Ordered theBulgarian Salad, at first it looked like a greek salad but the cheese was nice. Soft and not as salty as feta. I love this style of pizza and Detroit Pizzeria did not disappoint. My partner and I ordered two large pizzas with a BOGO deal... on UberEats, and it arrived hot and delicious. The food quality was very high and I would recommend. And trust, I eat a LOT ofpizza. Excited to have leftovers for breakfast! Read more
Wow. Randomly found this place while walking around the area before a meeting. Excellent pizza, service and owner was very... accommodating when we mentioned we had a short time for lunch and needed it quick. Anyone in this area needs to check it out asthis is a hidden gem! Read more
Definitely some of the best Detroit style pizza in the city. The crust was amazing, better than others I've tried. We had the... Korean Fried Chicken Pizza and the Motor City. Both were delicious, I would highly recommend the KFC. Read more
Ordered the white mushroom pizza and the double double pizza. The white mushroom is good with the toppings between the caramel... onions, the mushroom and the white truffle sauce but I preferred the double. Both had a pillowy soft dough with a crispy crustbut the double had the mix of heat and sweet from the jalapeno and hot honey that made it taste that much better. Order a smallif you're grabbing one for yourself. They taste fantastic but it is incredibly heavy on the stomach. You will need to take a lapor two to digest it all. Detroit style pizza seems to be growing into Toronto area. This place open up less than a year ago they make Detroit style... pizza. It's a thicker pizza crust with cheese baked right to the edge. Overall not a bad pizza freshness of the sauce and theingredients is very good. Worth the try. Service was good. I am so happy Detroit Pizzeria opened up. I ordered a Margherita and it had just the right lift and chew in the dough, perfect... edge crisp, very tasty sauce and they didn't skimp on the cheese. We came for the summerlicious. Vegetarian menu is very limited also on their regular menu. But we were NOT disappointed. First... time trying Detroit style pizza, crust is crunchy and light and tomato sauce is not sweet which I appreciate. Nice pizza! TheArancini is filled with mushroom risotto delicious. Only I wish that the cheese inside would have been hot. It was cold. Thedesert, we choose the flourless chocolate cake. It is dense like ganache, strong cocoa flavour not too sweet but bitter. I feltthat the piece was too big for the flavour. I couldn?t finish it. We also ordered a Detroit salad. It was refreshing and theywere generous with the olive oil, also big portion.
