Delicious food but a bit pricey. The food was great, our server was even better. She was serving a lot of tables but doing it in... such an efficient way. The portions were good and filling. Like a lot of these local shops though they always price the foodlike 2-5$ more than it should be and pop is always extremely over priced. Read more
A friend lives close to here so we walked over to check this place out. We arrived two hours before close. The server was nice... but when we arrived and sat down I felt our group was rather not welcomed. We ordered a round of drinks and they brought us thebill before the drinks, which I found rather rude. I dont usually drink in Toronto so maybe this is normal? Our server was wonderful and attentive to our needs! We sat outside near the bonfire which was very cozy. Food options are... limited, however the drinks were definitely on the more boozey side compared to what I'm used to -- which is a good thing, nocomplaints! Read more
Nice patio and decent selection of beers and ciders. Inside is cozily lit and has quite a party vibe on weekends. Food menu is... on the basic side, but fine for the type of vibe (snacking during drinks vs sitting down to a meal). A little pricy but no morethan any other spot downtown. Staff seem fun too. At one point the table next to us ordered shots then changed their minds, sothe server offered them to us. Young crowd for the most part, pretty laid back spot in general. Read more
very mediocre food for the price, very inattentive and apathetic waitstaff. our server didn't greet us or say hi, just jumped... straight to "what do you want to drink?". I had trouble accessing the online menu and when I told him that, he shrugged andwalked away. he also never came over to see if we liked everything or needed anything, and he then walked away mid-payment totalk to his friend who had just showed up. they billed us wrong 3 separate times, and they missed one item of food completelyso we didn't end up getting it at all after waiting 20 mins and finishing all our other food, and leaving still hungry. thefood was also really expensive for what it was. a small bowl of fries for $7? no thanks. the avocado and tofu bowl pictured wasfine but not worth the $14. overall, extremely unimpressed with the waitstaff, and the food is nothing to write home about.will not be returning. Decent experience and nice atmosphere. Different daily specials and the staff was really nice. The entrance is from the side not... from the front near Mabel's and they do have an outdoor patio still even though it's cold with a fireplace! Read more
