This restaurant is pretty expensive but I like that you can ask for unlimited side dishes. They have a nice variety of side... dishes, including a few unique ones like acorn jelly. My favourite side dishes are the steamed egg and the cheese corn. Thequality of the BBQing meat is decent. Overall, this is a fun place to go to with friends occasionally (not too often otherwiseyou may break the bank). Read more

06/28/2022 : Ate here for dinner today and the place was full, when we got there we had to register on a waiting list for a... group of 5 and was told that there would be an hour wait. We walked around the area to kill time until our wait was over, whenwe seated we ordered right away and the food came out really fast. The employees there were nice and aware even though the placewas very busy. The food was really good and filling, I ate quite a bit and the taste satisfied my cravings. Parking here is abit hectic so I would recommend commuting via subway, other than that there is a lot of areas/places nearby to kill time ifthere happens to be a waiting list. It is kind of expensive, but cheaper than AYCE and other similar places. I would definitelycome back here when I can and am craving and recommend coming here once if you haven't done so already. Get here early if you want to avoid waiting! This small restaurant fills up quickly and wait times can get long! We arrived at... 5:50 and still ended up waiting 15 minutes. Totally worth the wait!! Korean bbq is such a unique and fun way to eat! You pickfrom a basic, but delicious menu a choice of pork and beef, which arrives raw. Together you cook your meat at the table, whileenjoying the many other accoutrements that they serve along time. The sweet corn was mind blowing!!! The service is wicked fastand everything is prepped in their kitchen ahead of time - once you?re ready to order the food is but minutes away. We orderedtoo much and left feeling a bit too full! Daldongnae was absolutely wonderful. I have heard about this many times and always wanted to try it. The interior decor was... really unique and wonderful as it reminded me of that old Korea of few decades ago. Lots of elements in the restaurant broughtme to those good old days of Korea. We ordered ???? which is Beef Intestines BBQ and we enjoyed it. It was awesome how they gaveus free stew and also cooked us fried rice after. Their service was great and it was an enjoyable experience overall. Mynon-Korean friends really enjoyed our Korean dinner today as well and I am happy that I made this recommendation. Extreme busy-ness alert! Went at 6pm on a Friday and there were 8 people waiting in front of us. Thankfully, they only allow 1.5... or 2 hrs of eating time so the line moved quickly (maybe 25 min?). The place is quite tight, crowded and a bit loud but notoverpoweringly so. Very efficient staff, not super smiley but fast and to the point. Waste food worth the wait? Well, thepresentation was great and meat was fresh but it definitely is pricey for a casual dinner. All in all, a fun, busy place tovisit. Read more

Meat quality is good and tastes fresh. It comes with a lot of side dishes that compliment the meat well? even if you?re picky,... you?re probably going to find a side dish to dig in throughout the night! I loved the vegetables that were provided with thespicy cold noodles (and the vegetables given in general) because they taste like I?m eating it straight out of a field. Quickwarning though: service is hell. Especially during evenings, the entire place feels chaotic. A lot of waiting, somecomplications with ordering, etc. The food is great, but depending on what day you go here, it gets pretty wild. For our first time, we had a great experience here! Our server was kind and helpful with the menu. He also guided us through the... process and gave tips. The supervisor or manager also allowed us to switch to our desired table. The food tasted fresh and thewhole Korean BBQ experience was fun. We were a group of 4 and ordered their pork belly, boneless beef short ribs and beeftenderloin; each meat order served is 200g. I also highly recommend their seafood pancake - delicious! To join their wait list,add your name, number and # of guests on their tablet by the front door; they'll text you when your table is ready. No streetside parking in front of the restaurant but you can find very limited paid parking spots by the neighbouring street. Overall,pricey but worth the experience and food. I would come back.
