Reviews for Cumin Kitchen in Toronto, ON
A wonderful and refreshingly calming experience. Spice and seasoning are balanced in a way that has a sweet undertone so you... don't feel assaulted by powerful overwhelming heat. Vegetarian dishes incorporated fresh ingredients satisfying the mostsensitive palate at our table. Presentation is fresh, clean and simple to match the decor and spa like ambiance of therestaurant. We had a chance to meet Krishna (sorry about the spelling) who is welcoming and warm. I'm looking forward to thenext visit. Read more
My partner and I were very impressed with the freshness of the food we ordered and the speed that it arrived at the table. We... had the Pakora Platter as a starter (yum) then the Tandoori Platter, Shrimp Malabar, and veggie biryani - all equally delicious! Of course the buttery naan was amazing as well. The dishes were plentiful, we have lots of leftovers and the spicing was justright for our Canadian palates. We thoroughly enjoyed Cumin Kitchen and look forward to coming back soon. Read more
Amazing Indian food! The vibes were nice, love how the restaurant is decorated and it has a section to sit down or a bar if you... just want to get drinks. This would also be a great spot for larger groups. The food was SO delicious and portion sizes werelarge enough that we got to take some home. My friend and I got the tandoori chicken, lamp roganjosh (lamp in a yummy sauce),basmati rice and garlic naan. Oh and we also got a appetizer which was the onion bhaji. Everything was 10/10 and what I love isyou can share everything. One of the staff was even saying that's how it's meant to be with Indian food. Speaking of the staffwere great; we asked questions about things on the menu which they were happy to answer and helped me choose between some thingsI was debating about. The only downside is parking, it is paid street parking or there is a paid parking area nearby as well. But don't let that stop you, I highly recommend! Read more

We had an absolutely amazing experience here! We went during their dinner rush with six people and no reservation -and they were... super accommodating. They advised they didn't have a table yet but gave an accurate wait time (15min) and suggested we wait atthe bar. The bartender was super kind and helpful as we chose beers and wines while we waited (try their house brew!). Onceseated we were quickly waited on by stellar staff. The food was absolutely amazing; it was sad when we were finally full andcouldn't order more! Wonderful ambiance, great service -even while we waited. We are already planning on next visit -this timewe'll call ahead for a reso! Read more
Random picked restaurant in the area. It was a small Indian restaurant, not busy on a hot summer day. Server was nice and... friendly. Special choices of local brewed beer, we ordered tandoori chicken and shrimp, it was juicy. Food taste good and at avery affordable price. I didn't have much expectations in the beginning, but to my surprise, overall experience is amazing Read more

It was my first experience with Indian food, and it was a very pleasant one. The owner was so welcoming and friendly, taught us... how to eat in an Indian style. The naan bread was a marvel, both garlic and vegetable one. Goat curry was a beautiful treat, andspiced reasonably, just the perfect amount for me. The desserts deserve a separate praise, they are out of this world! Genuinelyrecommend and will myself come back to explore the depths of Indian cuisine more! Read more
