Man, am I glad I found Mauro. I was stressing out about finding the perfect wood oven pizza party caterer for my wife's 40th... birthday party. One caterer turned me down because of unpredictable October weather; another said my guests would have to comeout to my driveway because their oven had to sit in a trailer (which I didn't want). Mauro said YES, brought a couple of supercool portable ovens and a canopy to deal with the rainy weather we had (which fit perfectly on my deck), and he made some ofbest Neopolitan-style pizza I've ever had! We had his Margherita, Patate, Sopresata, Calabrisella, and another one withcaramelized onions and porchetta (my favorite). We also did Arancini and his Speducci station to start + Insalata di Giardino,and a custom-sized Tiramisu to finish. I honestly thought we were going to have too much food for 24 people, but everything wasso damn good that everybody kept eating! Mauro is a true professional. Cucina Mauro is amazing!! Mauro put together the perfect menu for our tastes and the event format, Everything was displayed so... beautifully and was incredibly delicious. Our guests were all raving about food - and we had some hardcore Italian critics inthe crowd. ;) The spedduci grilled on site and the interactive mozzarella stretching station were big hits. The service wasalso top notch. We didn't have to worry about a thing. The process from beginning to end was so simple; the team even arrangedall of our rentals for us. On site, they took care of all of the set up and tear down; the servers welcomed our guests withsmiles and were so attentive throughout the event; the chefs made us laugh in the kitchen. Everything ran so smoothly. Truly,booking Cucina Mauro for your event will make your life so easy; trust them to do their thing and enjoy your elevatedevent! In August we went with Cucina Mauro to cater a bridal shower. Mauro was helpful throughout the process and he personally... delivered to our location on time. The food was amazing, fresh and hot - we ordered a little bit of everything. Pasta, arancini,paninis, pizza. Everyone enjoyed all of the food provided; especially the paninis which were raved about. The pricing is verygood and portions provide great value. Would highly recommend Mauro for any catering needs! Daily lunch at their storefrontlocation is a plus. Thank you Mauro - see you next time. We ordered from Cucina Mauro for catering our faculty's orientation week. It was prompt service, in which all our questions were... quickly answered leading up to placing our order. Delivery was on time and packaging was organized! The food tasted wonderfuland came hot despite the drive into the downtown area. Complete lack of communication and shocking absence of professionalism. I would give zero stars if I could. We tried multiple... times to contact this caterer to place a large catering order. After speaking to them on the phone and asking if we could placea smaller order to try various dishes and make a selection, the company kindly agreed. We offered to send the order requestthrough email, which they said would be preferred. We did so and what followed was a week of endlessly calling them. They toldus on a Monday when we followed up that we would receive email confirmation and a pick-up date that day or the next. We did not.We called again on Wednesday, and we were assured the email confirmation was coming by end of day. We received nothing. OnThursday morning, we called again to ask what the cause of the delay was and why we had been left hanging for a week. We weresuddenly told that the date of our function was already booked and had been for some time, and were rushed off the phone like weweren't worth another breath. Amazing that over the course of the many conversations in the week leading up to this (includingthe day before!), that was never the case. The food looks nice, but I hope this business can learn to treat prospectivecustomers with a little more courtesy and consideration. We were never rude or aggressive in our interactions with them andcan't imagine why they would treat anyone that way. I can only guess that they have little regard for people if they alreadyhave orders lined up and aren't in need of more business, or that they are entirely disorganized. We will definitely pass onthis caterer for any future catering needs and will warn friends and family against using them. If you?re reading reviews and trying to find a great caterer, great food, fantastic service, friendly as heck servers and an... owner who will bend over backwards for you, you can stop looking now. Mauro and his team are fantastic! I threw a surprisebirthday party for my husband and Mauro and team made sure our experience was not only smooth and easy, but they were alsoprofessional and very organized. On top of that, the food was outstanding! I?m still getting messages from our guests about howgood the food was, especially the roasted pork! Get the pork!! Mauro went out of his way to create a perfect menu that fit ourgroup as well as my budget - and he made sure there would be plenty of options for different dietary needs. Never have I been this excited to post a Google review!!!! We had the privilege of Cucina Mauro catering our very first... Holiday Party for our new business. To us this was a very big deal and an extremely important event however it was a first, wereally didn't know what to expect . I can say with great confidence that Cuccina Mauro MADE the event. Not only did he providethe food, his set up created this ambiance that just had everyone socializing and connecting on a level we didn't think waspossible (Three days later and we're still getting Instagram messages and emails asking for Cucina Mauro's contact info). Let'srewind prior to the event... Organizing the menu was an extremely easy process, all done electronically (just how we like it).Mauro made some adjustments to accommodate all of our staffs dietary restrictions in the blink of an eye. He stayed in touch (weobviously were very excited and booked 2 months in advance) with updates via email the entire time and last but not least, thefinal touch that just blew me away...on his own time Mauro took a visit a to where were going to be hosting the event to get avisual of the layout and to plan accordingly.
