I ordered Goat Biryani and it was the worst biryani I’ve ever had. They have a picture of a matka Biryani in their menu but... they served it on a plate and It was really bland. Colaba junction gives you Bombay vibes! The interiors feel like you're back in India! They have some classic pops that you get... back in India. Do try their beef vindaloo, it's cooked to perfection with tender beef pieces! Another dish we ordered was thechicken tikka, it's not too spicy and perfect with naan. Went there for Pani Puri. They ran out of it (it was 8 pm already) so ended up ordering Samosa chaat and Papri Chat. Although... they look kind of same but tastes different. These are something that you can find in the streets of Indian cities and theytaste quite similar. The best thing is that they keep Thumbs-up in good old glass bottles exported all the way. The Ambience looked fun with quirky lines on the walls, but was dissapointed with the food. We ordered Pav Bhaji, Aloo tikki... chat, Chicken kati roll and mango lassi The only dish which I enjoyed was the Kati roll and mango lassi. Guess making mangolassi is not rocket science since the fruit does the major work. One time visit for sure, we left the Aloo tikki chat and didn'tfinish it. Many others too didn't finish their food either. Guess the restaurant has a lot of work to do on it's flavours. Read more
It was getting late and everywhere I went, bathrooms were closed. This was becoming an emergency. My wife and I found this... little place, and their bathrooms were fully operational! (and ultra clean, a true surprise in Toronto!) so before we left, wedecided to grab some butter chicken roti, some gulab jamun, and a couple Mango Lassies, and oh my LORD. It was INCREDIBLE. My friends and I tried their Samosa chaat, Aloo chaat and Vada pav and they were all delicious. We were surprised to see how... close they have come in terms of taste compare to back home. Would definitely recommend this place if someone wants to tryindian street food. Read more
Open 24/7 so you can satisfy all your late night street food cravings at Colaba Junction... although few items from the menu... seems to be not available at late night. The staff is nice & helping. The food tasted good... and the portion size is alsogood. Halal options also available here. Read more
