Fresh and delicious bread and pastries. Some specialities like their Cape seed loaf and jalapeño twists, lots of delicious... standard breads and buns, and a nice selection of treats like wild blueberry and custard Danishes or cinnamon scones. I'veordered ahead for big orders to pick up for parties before and it is very convenient. Pop in before a spontaneous day trip tograb spinach and feta croissants and mini cinnamon rolls. Tear and share loaves and mini buns are great for parties. Read more

Terrible customer service at this location.. I?ve given it multiple chances but I get disappointed every time. Rude customer... service and stale scones like cardboard. Will definitely not go to the Bayview location again. Read more

Let me start by saying I love COBS Bread. However, that said, not this location. From the first visit and every subsequent... visit there have been issues. This is the only store that sells Challah only on Thursday. Seems whatever I am looking for theydo not have it. All the other stores always do. Not here. Today it was trying to pass off dinner rolls as Hamburger buns. YET,I saw the hamburger buns on the counter where an employee took them in back. Which leads me to the awful customer service here. Ask a question, and wow the attitude. Geez, are we making you look bad, since no one knows the products well enough to answerthe questions? This is going to be the final visit to this location. Vaugn, Whitby, Pickering, Scarborough beat this locationby kilometers. Hint to this store manager: Go see how the other stores do things, and up your business practices. You havecompetition on the street location. I won't be surprised if this location closes down the road. I hate to leave reviews such asthis, but there seems to be no other options here. Read more

Got a mixed 6-pack of hot cross buns. There was a huge stem (apple?) in my first bite, then sandy bits and more stems (raisins)... in subsequent bites. Gross. Totally lost my appetite for the rest. Read more

On New Year's Eve I went to the COBS Bayview location to buy some bread for dinner. This was my first time shopping at a COBS... bakery. I walked into the store without a mask as I have an exemption which is allowed under the City of Toronto by-law no541-2020. I explained this to the staff member who asked why I wasn't wearing a mask. Her demeanor immediately changed and itwas very clear that she did not want to serve me and wanted me out of the store. I told her what I was looking for and she heldup a loaf of bread that did not fit my requirement and said "will this do?". Needless to say, I left the store without apurchase. This is discrimination. On the COBS head office website, they state that mask exemptions are allowed. The by-lawexemption is in place to protect people who are unable to wear a mask. I always aim to shop local, especially during thischallenging time for small businesses however based on my experience, this will be my first and last time shopping at a CobsFranchise location. Extremely sub-par customer service. Read more

Best to go close to when they open to get a huge selection of delicious baked goods! Both sweet (danishes, scones) and savoury... (ham and cheese croissants) to choose from. Also lots of bread options, from loaves to hamburger buns, to choose from. You'llneed to make multiple trips back after your first trip because the products are so good! Read more
