Reviews for Chaska Indian Street Food in Toronto, ON
Located at the lower level on Atrium by Bay, Chaska is a well known spot for Indian Street food. I tried the non vegetarian... rice bowl. Although the quantity was good, the curry seemed watery. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Read more
I've gotta say the concept is fantastic. Street Indian food! Love the idea. As a person born and raised in Canada by Indian... parents, my palate for Indian food is quite different then the general public. I ordered the mint chicken kathi roll with egg. First off, I found the food to be underwhelming, the chicken was dried out, samosas are nothing special. Portion size was onthe small side as well. I really wished they had a chicken or a beef samosa. The food here is nothing special for Indians andmust be amazing for the non-indians(they wouldn't know what good Indian food is) and from my guess that's who they'retargeting. There are so many better options out there. Read more
A pleasant surprise with Desi food hiding very close to Eaton Mall in a basement food court of one of the building ... a little... pricey though for that food court experience. Staff is quick and energetic! Food is also good. Quantity is sumptuous so becautious whilst ordering! For 2 dishes, it can be around $25 to $30. Packaging and presentation is very good! Read more

Tried the new Indian food joint at the Atrium Food Court Bay/Dundas), the decor was vibrant with lots of interesting food on... the menu, especially the chaat. I had the mixed grill plate, it was good. The meat were fresh and juicy. A place to look forwardto when I don't bring my lunch. Meats are halal, no hormones or antibiotics, free run chicken and grass fed lambs. Read more

Has exceeded expectations. Lots of unique flavors and combinations. The samosas are somehow perfectly crispy on the outside and... savory inside, without tasting greasy. The samosas chatt can come as a side or a main and never disappoints. Cant go wrong withjust about anything on the menu. For a healthy option I recommend the mixed plate. The salads are also an option, but trulywere a bit disappointing in comparison to other items on the menu. Read more
Tried the pav bhaji here and it was good, really good. Cost wise it's pricey, 8.99$ for pav bhaji. The happy hour menu pricing... seems exciting (3pm to 6pm) where pav bhaji is listed for 5.99$. Will try all the happy hour menu in coming weeks. Initialreaction: promising Read more
