I get it, inflation and recession, but their portion sizes have decreased by about 40%. The lone employee (7pm on a Saturday... night) did his best to accommodate customers, and as I waited, I noticed the Bloor st. location was falling into disrepair. Sad,this used to be a solid place that has now fallen into shambles. Read more

This restaurant has gone down in quality, portions and customer service. I used to order regularly during COVID but my most... recent experience was disappointing. The food was cold, the portions were much smaller, and the roti wasn't the same texture asbefore. I also got food poisoning the same day from the order, and because it was my only meal from the day I'm sure that it'sfrom the low-quality food from this restaurant. Would never recommend. Read more

Half the chicken in their butter chicken roti is now dark meat and its actually kind of gross. This was not always the case... here. They cheaped out while managing to increase their prices. Awful. Read more

Just finished a butter chicken roti from here (Bloor St Location) and it was extremely disappointing. The portion size was tiny... compared to what it used to be. There was barely any filling or meat inside the shell. I ate the entire thing and it did notfill me up, which is a first for me. The sauce tasted like a cross between President's choice Butter chicken sauce andsomething from Chef Boy-R-Dee. It was also way too sweet and not nearly spicy enough compared to rotis I've had from them inthe past. The only thing that has not gone severely downhill about this roti is the price, which is the same as it used to befor an amazing roti that was twice the size. This chain used to be awesome. I first had it at the College/Bathurst location(which burned down and never reopened) and then at the Queen/Ossington location, then at the Bloor/Dovercourt location. Therotis were always super filled with tons of meat and sauce and were hard to finish in one sitting. The sauce tasted differentfrom any other place I had tried and so I assume it was home made. They also had a very aggressive level of spice. Mild-Mediumwas plenty spicy and probably too spicy for the average person, which is great in my opinion. I don't know if this place isowned by the same people that started it, or if they've changed chefs or recipes or just decided to cheap out on the product andcoast on their previous reputation. In any case, I won't be going back and will definitely not recommend it to others as I havein the past. I'm willing to put up a different review if I hear something from the owner to the effect that the person in thekitchen today just had a stroke and forgot how to make the roti and if I see them return to their previous glory. Until then, avoid at all costs, unless you want to pay top dollar to be very disappointed. Read more
