Amazing Stuff and place and food. We order one salad and they even split for us ! Love the places!
We had a great time and it was a birthday dinner for my wife- she loved it and we will be back. Our only comment is that with... one more service person it would be brilliant. Not sure if it's the kitchen is overwhelmed or it's the 2 service peopletrying to keep up. Read more
Four of us had dinner at Browne's last week, a variety of appetizers and entrees. It's a charming neighborhood bistro with... fairly traditional options, well prepared. The night we were there food service was s-l-o-w. The servers were hopping but saidthe kitchen was backed up. Fairly noisy room when it fills up, not easy to talk around a table for four. Read more
Came here for summerlicious! It was delicious. Gelato was great and so was the salmon. My favourite was the cold soup. I LOVE... COLD SOUP HOW COME I NEVER TRIED IT BEFORE???????????????????? I'd eat that everyday. Server was also super chill and nice. 5/5 Read more
We dined a bit on the early side (6pm) as this place gets slammed on the weekends from 7 pm on. Food and service was top notch.... The wine we wanted wasn't available but the waiter recommended an excellent substitute at a similar price. Read more
Exceptional food and service. The New York rigatoni is my favourite ? it's a must try! Also, make sure you save room for... dessert, take your pick as they all hit the spot! The chef personally came to our table to ask how our food was which I found tobe a lovely touch. It shows they generally care about their output and the customer experience. Peter, our waiter was witty,well-informed, and an all round gentleman when dealing with us (a group of seven and a baby). 100% would recommend this finedining establishment to anyone in the area. Came to Brownes Bistro for my mother's birthday. Everything was fantastic! I had sweet potatoe and apple soup for an appetizer... and the lamb sausages with cabbage and mashed potatoes for main. The servers and owners worked the floor really well,interacting with the guests. They were very friendly and personable, and made you feel welcome. My father had a wrong dishbrought to him, but it was quickly corrected without hassle by the staff. Would highly recommend Brownes Bistro for a goodhearty meal. Read more
Went here for my birthday and the atmosphere was warm and homey. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Jerry was fantastic!... The food was perfectly done. We had the pan seared arctic char and it was so HOT (in temperature) and crispy!!! It was probablythe best arctic char we've had before (and this is coming from someone who has had fresh arctic char from Nunavut before). Thelamb sausage was like fancy comfort food--soo good. Oh, and the escargot and soup of the day (sweet potato & coconut) was yummy!The creme brulee had real vanilla bean in it and we got a complimentary brownie+ice cream for my b-day! I'd love to come backagain to try their other dishes. This is a place where each and every dish was executed perfectly. Read more
